CHRISTCHURCH - What we're up to on the #FeverTour

Sorry this has taken a while to get up team. This week has been challenging for Smithy.

But, it's very simple in Chch.

We'll be at Cargo Bar on Lincoln Road. There'll be $6 Coronas and Steiny Pures and after the match there'll be $10 Jam Jars for an hour before the dance floor opens up at 10pm.

Before the game there'll be a live band, and after the game the A-League will be on too.

It's an easy 15 minute stroll to the game, we'll be trying to clear the place out at 4pm to get into the stands nice and early.

Bring it on!

And remember, it's #FeverTour

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Due to various degrees of planning shambles, we have some spare accommodation available at the Jailhouse on Saturday night (the 9th).

4 beds available in a ten dorm room, $33 each. If you want them, you need to let me know by 4pm tomorrow (Wednesday)

(I have to give them 48 hours notice of any cancellations)

Would be nice to have more Fever peeps in the room.

If the Jailhouse is a rockin' - don't come a knockin'?

Known "issue" (as in it does exactly what Nik's telling it to do, even if thats not what you intended for it to do).

Perhaps we could get a cardboard cut out of HN to take on tour on those few occasions he can't make the trip??

I would be hugely entertained by this.

What about just a Hard News face printed on a stick that we can hold up?

If anyone is in CHCH on Friday there will be a short casual meet up with the Phoenix players at the Novotel Hotel bar at around 6.15pm.
It has been organised for the CHCH Supporters Club but any travelling fans are of course welcomed.
Shouldn't be too many people there as it has been organised quite late (sorry!) so it should be a good opportunity to chat with some of the players, will be quite low key.
If you need anymore details I'll be posting them on the CHCH Phoenix FB page.

From tomorrow's issue of the Christchurch Mail - "Christchurch's largest circulating community Newspaper."
Apart from getting the Kick-off time wrong and claiming I caught an infection in Wellington it's an alright write up. Plus good bit of advertisement for Cargo.

We bought Christchurch tickets for family and sorted our free ones on Sunday from the guy at Ticketek Michael Fowler..He is THE go-to-guy!

Highest PAX then was 6831...could be good turnout, fingers crossed for the weather.

BTW        LG, please try to avoid confrontation with the locals this time yeah?  ...  ;-)

Heart stopping moment in Napier was seeing you just about get bumped over the side by the drunken local lout up in the top of the YF Zone last week...
