Hi guys I am a new Wellington Phoenix fans, who was borned in Hong Kong. Recently I buy the new season Home shirt, jacket and Nixie's mascot.

What is Alex Rufer's prefered position? Some say is striker but he's a midfielder and can score goals? One of the future stars?

Thought he was very disappointing in the recent u-17 World cup for NZ. Didn't keep poosession or make any decent passes and 0 shots on goal.

Ridenton also was poor...

Still, young players, so can't form any solid impression yet and I hope they make it at the Nix.

Sadly there are no boardcast in Hong Kong for the U-17 World Cup, can't see any games, just see the highlights. I am thinking can he make the impact liked his father or uncle! He was a tall lad!!!

Refer to the club's facebook, Alex Rufer at the moment is taking school exam and not back to training yet. Is it the reason why he did not perform in the U-17 World Cup?

Exceptions should be made for footballers. We would make them for rugby players. Grumble Grumble.

Under 17 tourney not a good guide. Buildup was a mess with the having to contribute to the trip thing. The coach's structure in the first game was naïve at best. Oceania is a hopeless rehearsal for any of these youth sides. Still picking Ridenton and Rufer to be stars of this side at some stage.

Hi, but did the Under 17 play liked the All Whites, play direct style and long ball or passing on the ground?

Yeah agree. They tried to play some football. Nothing to lose I guess. Just wish they were tactically sorted in that first game, as they weren't play New Caledonia.

But to inspire Ricki Herbert to get him in the squad, you have to be 6 ft 4 or very quick liked Rojas!!! Think Rufer is the later.
