Patrick Lord - 3.5 star potential, bloomed but with plenty of development left. Played well in the six games he got last year, but with two 4 star pot OMC's he's not needed. 5.7 mill
Eddie Aitken - 2.5 star keeper, good League 1 back-up/3rd choice, now relegated to fourth choice on my team so available - cheapest price that I could possibly put him at.
Jason McCaw - 3 star pot, training well, improving every week. Only 1.2 mill
Josip Bell - Bloomed but 3 star pot, 1.5 mill.
Vaughan Jensen - Also 3 star pot, 1.7 mil, scores plenty of goals for a 2 star player.
If any of those prices are too steep but you are interested, send me an offer and I'll accept - Lord is the only player who I'm trying to make money from, the rest are just to lower wages basically.
So just wondering how do people go with selling players? I have listed players for their standard when I transfer them, done them for next to nothing, but just have never had a bid on a player...
Any ideas for help?
If I were to hazard a guess it'd be that you are probably selling undesirable players, nobody wants a 2.5 star 32 year old for example. I'd put the players you want to get rid of on the market at their lowest possible price, if there is no bites then I'd just fire them probably. It seems like you have a lot of squad depth.
Better off firing if the transfer expiry is after Monday for players like that. As the wages effectively comes off the end transfer price (which may even be zero!).
If the expiry is before Monday, you may as well give it a go, then fire if they don't sell.
Right, so everyone 2.5 stars or less (With no further potential) is likely to be fired over the weekend :D
Time to be ruthless, I have nearly 50 players on the books.
Anyone of 3 stars that is in a position I have depth in will gave a sale price, and dump if they don't sell.
I'd say its worth trying to sell the 3 star players multiple times if you don't want them, lots of teams like picking up a 3 star player, no matter their age, I'd persevere with that as when I started I had a massive cleanout, managed to sell all my 30 and older 3 star players very easily.
But yeah, 2.5 star players over the age of 30? 2 star players? Try to sell then dump would be my advice

If they don't sell they're fired. Think of their families... you wouldn't want them to lose their job, commit suicide and leave all of that pain and anguish for their families to cope with, would you?
by the looks of them they'll be going off shore to play in some foreign lower league. Most of us here need higher than 3 star players to be of any use.

Wow, 67 mill. I have him bloomed and 4 stars, that seems pretty likely, don't see a 23 yr old improving a whole star. Should score lots of goals though.
Still happy with him...I'm impatient and don't like shopping round for good buys so I tend to just throw all my money at one person I see that I like.

Well I ended up going for a foreigner, paid 15m for a 3* guy, hoping he can provide for a while til I can afford better.
Good price. A combined 27 in heading/finishing is a very nice player to have, young enough too. I'd be starting him ASAP, he'll get you goals for sure
