Aaahhh, Alex Moore Wembley. Hopefully the new turf will be rock hard in some places, and mud up to your knees in others. There should also be a massive wind turbine that blows Arctic temperature winds acrostic the pitch at 200 kms/hr

Sorry Tez but you are not correct stating NW is in Cap 1 when NZF have shot down CFs Micky Mouse attempt to save your ass.

I don’t want to debate it as this is not the forum but suffice to say your personal crusade against NW hasn't changed CFs right to organise the league as they see fit.

It wasn't a personal crusade fella. I felt the same as everyone else on this (apart from the board). A few people in our club and Naenae's had the bottle to do something.
So by stating you are in Cap 1 you know for a fact that the regs have been changed?

Can't be changed without majority of clubs agreeing is my understanding or at the very least their consultation.

You're not wrong, I put the blame on care in the community. :)

Seriously though, every club has it's internal conflicts and personality issues as we all know, it's just that with social media people can now vent to the world and seek validation for their point of view however strange it may be.

If any NW players are looking for a Capital 1 club for this season, Naenaes training commences Sunday 19th 11am at their dedicated training field, Northern end of Fraser Park followed by Wednesdays at 6pm. All serious interest welcome. Feel free to PM me if you want more info.

This is hilarious. From a neutral, it seems as though North Well beleive they are still going to bein Cap 1?? If so then why do they beleave that? Then some people are sure that they are not, if so why?

Either way its a bit rude to be campaigning for North Well players to join your club in a forum that some from North Well has set up to advertise their pre-season.  Although Naenae are going to need help to do well in Cap 1 so can understand the campaigning I guess.

Maybe North Wellington don't know about the NZF ruling which makes sense as they had nothing to do with the appeal. And CF are yet to send any official notice out so as far as they know it's still going to be an 11 team league. Sounds like that will be very unlikely though.

NZF refunded the fees, because the appeal was upheld. At least that is my understanding.

Lol you're kidding right? I'd rather play for porirua city capital 16 or whatever than be paid to travel to Naenae just once. Happiest moment of last season was relegating your reserves 6-0 at home.

Correct. NZF refunded the application fees because the appeals by Wharf and Naenae were upheld.

Maybe the refund came out of Teza's fortune cookie. I suspect not - enjoy Capital 2 where you belong after scrapping and appealing your way through 2013. Best you visit a Genie next Teza !

Go back a couple years - NZF over turn a result reversal and recommended game be replayed.

Game was never replayed and I think had promotion/relegation implications.

It is late the day after a Nix home game #Steineken fever has not settled so I will apologise  in advance if Mu Memory is wrong AGAIN

From an outsider looking in, I have come to the conclusion that Feverish seems to be running a personal crusade against North Wellington,  is there any particular reason for this?

I don't normally comment on such things, normally read and laugh, but you seem to have taken this situation to a new height! Why does matter there are 11 teams in a league? Surely it means players can play more games, brings more revenue into the clubs bars because there are more games. Surely players sign on for clubs to play football, and enjoy that rather than have people like you try and ruin the league and bring a cloud over the whole league.

What height would an 'outsider' like you have taken it to? Don't you believe in making sure rules are adhered to like the North Wgtn coach Steve Maclaren did twice last season? Or shouldn't he have done what he did because it 'doesn't matter'? I'm interested in an outsider opinion on people such as him and those that successfully appealed the matter you speak of.

firstly Nae Nae and Whalfie's appeal was against Capital football not NW so not a personal attack on NW but a matter of keeping a fair playing field as per the rules for all clubs
your comments re 11 teams is poor as capital 2 will only have 9 teams so they miss out on the extra games/revenue you say capital 1 get so is that fair????
the damage the executive committee caused with there actions and policy during the 2012 season cannot be swept away so easy as the results from the whole club in the 2013 season show's
this will take time to fix and i was hoping it would not be as bad as it was but the fact is it was the worst season in club history and we should just accept that and get on with playing the best football we can.
this banter with feverish is not going to help this rebuild so no matter what the final result from Capital football is there is a big job to repair the damage and get back to winning games on the field and not on appeal

Arh now it's an attack against the coach then, now we are getting to the point of the matter!! So you don't like the fact that the coach/ club appealed twice against teams who played players who who weren't registered or eligible to play? And if I remember one of those clubs was your club, so now we are getting to the bottom of this personal crusade.

That was not what he said at all. Read the response again.

It was about being a stickler for the rules and if you have an issue with Feverish wanting the rules to be adhered to, how do you feel about the coach whom also wanted the the rules adhered to twice last season because essentially, you can't have them enforced when it suits you (player eligibility) and not when it doesn't (promotion relegation)

(And before you start on me, I live in Auckland and don't care. I just get pissed off with people that can't read and twist things)

Yep and Naenae's appeal was based on the fact that teams in Cap 2 would miss out on bar revenue

Think the only thing Feverish is crusading for is fairness in the application of the rules. Capital Football seemed to think ignoring the rules and doing whatever suited them was the right thing to do in this instance. NZF disagreed.

Phoenix Academy

Why would it have suited them though?

Don't thin CF were trying to do anything other than what they thought was fair for all involved.

Whats fair is not always whats right.

People are whinging about Craig Findlay smashed 300 odd against some school kids in a senior mens comp and the parents are crying 'its not fair'. Tough shit. Those are the rules for a reason. You play in that comp, that's the rules. NZF basically told Capital to pull its own head out of its ass.

Yea great Jeff that s your opinion.

I do agree that what's fair isn't necessarily whats right. I just don't think its fair of people to portray that CF make decisions just to suit themselves. They are simply people trying their best for the game in our area. They don't always get things right and it's fair enough to call them on it but it's not fair and not good for the game to negatively portray why they make those decisions as if they make them for any other reason than what they think is best.
