How come the 'Mak keeper was allowed to wear the same colour shirt as the ref? Have the rules changed?

Choose your battles I reckon.  The refs had enough to worry about with players and spectators.

Interesting game coming up in the English Cup -

Tue 9 Jul
7.00pm Cashmere Technical vs Burwood U21, ASB Football Park

Good to see more clubs entering. How long would it have been since Burwood were last in it? Probably not since the days of Bobby McGrain 20 years ago. So are they a 'junior' club or not?

Same thing on saturday in the FC20relegation vs Nomads game - bit of a joke this is fine yet the colour of tape on socks is an issue.

Don't knock 'em, they are doing good things. They have managed to get a decent amount of kids to form an under 21 team, however when that fell over they ended up in Div 4 of all places. They have a few junior teams and it's good they have some players that could field an U21 team.

Just like schools, we need clubs in the community! (not these mega-clubs/schools!)

Mid week melt down Vim? The town is going nutty due to a lack of football?

Don't get me wrong - I still feel the best thing that could happen would be for burwood to merge in with parklands so the north east has a decent sized club...but at the same time I respect what they're trying to do. They offer a footballing programme in a diverse area and have done for a long time. good on them.

On his debut for Nomads, Smith scored "an absolute pearler" of a goal, according to Ronaldoknow, a commentator on the Yellow Fever Mainland Premier League forum.

How bizarre, I have a broken leg held together by pins and plates as well!

Good luck to him, it was a very good goal, one of the best I've seen this season.

Adam Smith is absolute class. Was one of Nelson Suburbs best players before going to the US. Not sure why he's at Nomads though.

Good to see in the local rag with the list of successful funding applications two interesting amounts for the year 2012-2013

** Cashmere Wanderers Football Club $1000
** Cashmere Technical Football Club $3500

Clubs have to have a letter of affiliation from there games governing body, in this case Mainland Football. One of these clubs won't have one so how did they get approval for the funding? Hmmmmm ..................

They don't need to worry. They are about to get their second member on the Woolston workingmens club board. There is so much money floating around cashmere tech it might be an idea for other clubs to apply to them for funding!

Crikey - they'll have to pull some games again wouldn't they?  There just wont be enough pitches around town to accomodate.

So what I"m getting from that is - You're not entirely happy with the outcome of the preceedings and disagree with the way it was done?  Is that right or have I missed something

Oh I can not wait till all the facts come out it will be great. There was no deception the guy that has been given the 10 game suspension was sitting in the changing room beside me when the incident happened the video shows the end aftermath of incident so basically the guy has been given a total of 12 games suspended for standing outside and yelling stuff. Wish I could say more but can't yet.......

That looks to be the case.... just a matter of which games get to go ahead..... Will they pull the Juniors and then try play Senior games? Will they pull the lower division games in Seniors too? Questions, questions, questions.....
