F**kin JETSTAR !!!#@##*!

Bookings were high for the weekend due to the wearable arts thingy. So to get an affordable flight I booked to come down from Auckland at 4.50pm. Plenty of time to catch a quick beer at the "The Bar" and then head on down to the stadium.

You got it flight delayed for an hour and a half and finally arrive into Wellington 7.25pm

Raced to the stadium, by now 20mins into the game.

Friends, who had purchased a ticket for me, Txted to say they had left it at the VIP pick up.

By that stage VIP pick up was closed. Next stop security where the unclaimed tickets were kept. Mine wasn`t there.

Security were very nice but by the time it was sorted the second half was about to kick off.

So at least I saw the second Half.

Sunday back to Auckland on an 11.30am flight. This time delayed until 2.00pm

Apparently the pilot was suspended for breaking aviation rules when landing into Wellington and they had to fly in a replacement from Christchurch

Finally get away closer to 2.30pm

What a f**ked up weekend

Still If I new it was going to guaranteed 3 points I would go through again.

Morale of the storey "DON`T FLY JETSTAR"

ahhhhhhh.......I feel a lot better now that I have got that off my chest !!

Feel for you UK Kiwi.  Jetstar only offer a price advantage over AirNZ - everything else is a distant fourth (despite there only being two airlines).

I only fly with them if there is absolutely no alternative - and while I have been fortunate to not have any problems I have seen their "customer service" first hand and it's really not pleasant, plus many of my colleagues have stories like yours.

If for any reason I need to fly with Shitstar I always follow these rules:

1) Work out what time I need to arrive to be at my destination with plenty of time to spare

2) Find a suitable flight time that allows this to happen.

3) Book a flight exactly 24hrs earlier than the time you came up with in section 2!

Easy!

3) Book AirNZ, or if not possible call up G4L Transport Ltd.

4) Pants off at 80 mins!

Only time I have flown with Jetstar was from Oz to Auckland and for me it was great. Left on time, arrived on time and there were no problems at all.

Yeah,I would never cut it that fine with jetstar. They're constantly delayed. If I were to cut it that fine I think there is a ticket insurance where if you are Travelling for a sporting event, and a delay causes you to miss that event, you get some sort of refund. Though I imagine it'd be a hassling claiming the refund (knowing jetstar, nothing is simple).

Hobbit-love (in The Two Towers and Return of the King) of the Baggins-Gamgee variety.

It just isn't right.

Watching "Fair Go" which is always designed to be inflammatory, but the two stories involving councils - Dunedin for property boundaries and Auckland for traffic/bus lane tickets - really show the bureaucrats to be a bunch of tw@ts.

People who take their kids to Mitre 10 Mega on a public holiday. Do us all a favour and leave them locked in the car. You won't get in trouble for it as Mitre 10 Mega does not have Poker Machines so this behaviour is deemed acceptable there!

I bought into the whole Lance thing. Even went and checked out some of the climbs on the Tour like Alpe d'Huez.

What's the fecking point! - Drives me mental - when I only pop into the forum briefly during the day - look at a topic Ive posted on or been following - just to find the must recent update is somebody quoting the whole of an older message and adding:

"This"

STOP IT - It's useless, pointless and pisses me off.
