The reasons for this thread are:
1) Ricki Herbert is gone
2) Brown, Lochhead, etc are gone
3) We are not getting slaughtered by every other team in the league
4) We've not played 10 of our first home games away from home.
5) Morgan has not opened his cat-hating gob in ages.
6) We are playing some good football and that includes Lia (possibly)
7) We know we are not getting a new stadium soon and we accept it.
8) Food and beer at the stadium has improved a bit
9) the YF Zone has improved
Basically bloody stupid threads like this appear when things are going ok and we can't really moan about the team so we have to turn on ourselves and identify problems that don't exist.
I would say we are lacking a forum villain at the moment but I'm sure someone will come along and fill the vacum, the last was Nightz with his battle with JV - classic thread.
If you are going to get upset with the matchday thread then you need to look at yourself in the mirror, (complete with a new hair extension and hair accessories), and say to yourslef "Get a grip son".
There is nothing wrong with the forum. Lock this thread.

Widely accepted that the large percentage of content is great, informative, funny etc etc etc, acceptance that there are some absolute cocks posting and a consensus that I should toughen up and just ignore it. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
The comment about having to turn on ourselves because there is nothing else to moan about is wide of the mark too. Part of my moan is that [despite things going swimmingly well] there are still people that mindlessly bitch and moan about our plight and without any reasoned argument to back their theories up.::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
I agree that the Knightz vs JV battle was amusing to the degree that we saw Nightz become totally obssessed with denial. I can accept things like that because both Knightz and JV, largely, contribute positively to the forum. There are others who contribute absolutely nothing or drive some of us to the point of slashing our own wrists.::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: At the end of the day, I think the question is whether or not we are happy with being part of the forum? The answer [for most] appears to be yes, myself I'd prefer it if we could get rid of some of the bottom feeders, but that would then cause all sorts of issues on how you determine who stays and who goes.

Seriously though so name those that are bitching without reason - but take on board that if it's in the match day thread they may be drunk.
If you feel that you are being bullied then report it to the mods.
It's not rocket science. I think that would have been a better way of going about things rather than make this thread.
I don't think we have a lot of cockery going on because lets face it most of us will bump into each other in RL, which makes this forum very different from others.
How many people have been banned on this forum since it began? A handful?
I also think you need to just step back and look at this place for what it is, a bunch of sad clown-like folk that like to watch men running around in shorts.
edit: Just re-read the match day thread. Apart from Leggy calling someone a dipshit, (he is grumpy at the best of times), there's not much to report.
There are far far worse football forums out there.
