Hopefully they can see through that. A few suggested west ham to follow winston Reid. Think they seemed to like that idea too. Would be a decent marketing chance for them too - see all white winston Reid, free to air.

Sommet asked on Facebook which other EPL 'TV' fans would want to see (other than Chelsea which they already have), and some wise guy linked the Liverpool Supporters Forum to the post. 250 posts later, 200 of them are asking for Liverpool, each with an additional gazillion likes.

So I guess it will be LFC TV.

Get into it and vote here (scroll down just a little):

What English Premier League Team TV channel would you like us to buy? (we have Chelsea and we are only allowed one more)

Isn't there a roughly 2/3 chance of seeing "winning football" in any game though? One side wins and one side loses, or it's a draw

Pretty good, but wonder how many games they'll have.

excuse my stupidity, but what do I need to do to get Sommet Sports if I am a Sky Customer?  Do I need to buy a freeview box, or something?  I only bought my TV about 4 months ago, so shirely I can get it someway on there, can't I?

Enjoying the quite large amount of football on Sommet after getting my UHF box and aerial set up yesterday.

My first football on Sommet - Chelsea v Malaysia XI replay last evening: good commentary from what sounded like the Scottish bloke who used to be on ESPN (always thought he was ESPN's best commentator).

They are displaying a commitment to covering Kiwi football right from the go, having broadcast the NZ v Australia Futsal series last week and this week are broadcasting live all games of the two NZ teams in the OFC Futsal Championship.

See Freeview daily TV Schedule online: http://www.freeviewnz.tv/tv-guide.aspx

It's wall-to-wall football tonight with:

4PM LIVE: OFC Futsal Championship NZ INVITATIONAL V AUSTRALIA;

8PM LIVE: FUTSAL WHITES V SOLOMON ISLANDS

10PM LIVE: MANCHESTER UNITED V YOKOHAMA MARINOS

With a newer tv I just went out and got an aerial then tuned it in, it was easy. Some TVs will need a freeview box though I think.

Think so. Though mine don't look like rabbit ears at all, this disappointed me. Think you also need the bigger aerial on your roof.

Not sure where your apartment is relevant to signal source but imagine in Wgtn an indoor antenna could be ok. You might find that your apartment might already have a UHF aerial and its signal split to all apartments.

I used to live in Mt Vic. Got clear FreeTV with a simple small Rabbit ears antennae in doors.....just put it in front of a window...Nth side of the house works better.....signal comes from Mt Kaukau apparently. Not sure how it would work if you are in a dungeon basement flat in Aro Street. New TV's have built in decoder for digital TV.

true, sadly I'm not in that camp - and I don't want to have to spend the $$$ for a uhf thingy (so 90's) and a box!

Lots of people spend $$$ on a thingy and a box.

Although that might not have anything to do with Sommet Sports.
