7/10 for Singh. I had though that during the game, with a full season of Bundesliga under his belt that Singh will be a better player than Cuisance who already has had a full season for Gladbach (despite Singh being slightly older).

yep, I agree that Singh was better than Cuisance, though keep in mind that's an Indian paper you linked.

Cuisance is trying too hard to prove that he belongs in the first team, guy's got great natural talent but he keeps trying to play hero. Meanwhile, Singh's just playing his game and excelling - levels

This game, and the next one assuming he gets a run are huge for him.

Perform well and he can probably expect to see more minutes/cameos come his way, having proven he can compete at this level. One poor game, and questions will be asked about his ability to step up.

I'm backing him though, so far he has made every post a winner... all I want now is a goal!

Not in match day squad as BM II (3rd) beat Bavarian rivals 1860 München (8th) 2-1 in Liga 3.

Win takes BM II back into top spot on GD.

Looks like Singh will be in match day squad again (maybe starting) for Bayern's last Bundesliga game, against Wolfsburg this weekend.

Unused sub as Bayern trounce Wolfsburg 4-0 to finish Bundesliga season.

Bayern have the German Cup final next weekend, so I guess idea was to keep their first choice group match fit.

Though Cuisance started. Also Coutinho returned from his long injury layoff from the bench.

BM II beat Carl Zeiss Jena 2-1 to go a full point clear in Liga 3. Helped by Eintracht Braunschweig losing.

BM II still two Liga 3 games to go this week, so some more playing time yet for Singh at that level possibly, esp if he doesn't make the match day squad for the Cup final.

Looks like things are moving at Bayern now they have wrapped up the German championship. There are strong rumors in both the German and French press that Mikeal Cuisance, the young Bayern winger/midfielder will be loaned out to Olympic Marseille for the next season. Reports from Bayern say they want their younger fringe players to get more senior game time. No word on Singh but he must be in the firing line to get loaned out. Either that or he is in the radar for the first team next season. Exciting times!

Will Sane's move to Bayern be bad news for Singh? Will be bad news for Coutinho i guess.

Oh, Coutinho never had a chance to stay, he was always leaving - was far below expectations. Sane's a winger - Coman and Gnabry weren't amazing this season and wing depth was always needed. Singh should have a great shot at playing a few more games next season behind Muller if he's not loaned out, with speculation that he, Zirkzee and two others will be named as part of the first-team squad next season. Bayern are really making an effort to develop from within, unlike most other big clubs, which is perfect for us Kiwis

What a season - promoted to first team, wins Bundesliga, could also win Liga 3 and could end up second highest goal scorer in Bayern II despite missing several games through being in the first team.

Given where he was a year ago that has to be one of the most remarkable seasons by a NZ player of all time. Has any NZ footballer ever had such rapid success?

Maybe Thomas.

Singh not in match day squad as BM II trail MSV Duisburg, 0-1 at HT in Liga 3.

So a pointer that he will be on the bench this weekend for German Cup final (against Bayer Leverkusen), rather than helping BM II try and win Liga 3

BM II draw 2-2, and go into the final round this weekend leading by 1 point.

They nabbed a crucial 2nd goal & equaliser at 92 mins.

Their last game is against mid table Kaiserslautern, who have nothing to play for.

Singh not in match day squad as in a dramatic last round, BM II clinch the Liga 3 title.

BM II lost 0-1 at Kaiserslautern (10th).

However chasing Würzburger Kickers and Eintracht Braunschweig both dropped points.

Würzburger (2nd) could only draw 2-2 against Hallescher FC. Kickers scoring 2nd goal equaliser at 93 mins.

Eintracht (3rd) meanwhile lost 4-3 at Meppen. Looks like Eintracht missed a pen at 80 mins, when they were 4-3 down.

If either Würzburger or Eintracht had won, the title would have been theirs.

Blow softened for both clubs, with automatic promotion to Liga 2. BM II being unable to be promoted. Even with only 1 point from their last 2 games they managed to snatch the title.

Looks like Ingolstadt (4th) grab the promotion playoff spot.

At other end of the table, Tom Doyle's old club Chemnitzer FC, despite a 4-2 win were relegated on GD of one goal.

Anyway seems Singh will be on the bench for the senior team in German Cup final in a few hours.

Bayern win that, and will be a big night back at club HQ.

Unfortunately misses out on a bench spot, for the Cup final verus Bayer Leverkusen (finished 5th in Bundesliga)

Coutinho, Zirkee and Cuisance all on the pine.

I guess Singh travelled as backup.

Final at Berlin's Olympic Stadium. Read somewhere about 1,000 spectators maybe allowed.

The Bayern machine surges on. Sarpreet with a ringside seat to it all. Comfortable 4-2 win. Their 20th German Cup trophy. Lewandowski with a brace.

Leverkusen with a late 95th min consolation 2nd goal.

17 wins on the trot for Bayern in all comps going back to February this year. Unbeaten in 26 consecutive competitive fixtures, back to December last year when they were struggling.

Next is Chelsea in the Champions League round of 16 (Bayern 3-0 up from the London away leg) on 6th August.

Probably a few friendlies/inter squad games before then for Singh & Co to stay in shape.

I am very excited about this game. I hope Bayern field their reserves including Singh. Unlike the Bundislige the French Ligue never restarted after the end of lockdown. Bayern has played out the German season while OM is very much in preseason mode after three months of inactivity. They have only had a few light weight preseason games. It could be carnage. Hat trick for Singh?

Bayern have a little thing called the Uefa Champions League they are getting ready for, so I would expect to see a full-strength team start.

Also ex Bayern coach Niko Kovac  has just been appointed coach of Monaco in Ligue 1. I remember Niko being interviewed by Winton Rufer and he said nice things about Singh. Maybe a loan spell in Monaco? Cesc Fabrigues is rumored to be leaving Monaco to go to the Middle East, which could open up a slot.

Hansi Flick is big fan as well. Bayern is not a club that sign players and then loan them out. I guess they keep him, remember he made in the first team in no time, he gets more playing time very soon.

On a very large bench against OM.

Bayern won 1-0. I watched this game hoping to see Singh. Bayern attacked most of the game and Marseille defended well in a block.

Bayern bought on eleven subs through the game and Singh was not one of them. Not sure what this means for Singh. The Bayern bench is amazingly deep. They sub on really top players like Coman and Coutinho. What also stuck me was how big and powerful and athletic the Bayern players are. Singh is going to have to hit the gym. I suspect he won’t be in Bayern’s Champions League squad.

According to article above he missed out on the 25 man UCL squad.

Secretive loan deal back to the Nix, who fly him to NSW give him Davila's shirt and hope no-one notices in the last few games.

Big club, not having a great time of it late. Barely avoided being relegated to 3. Bundesliga the last two seasons.

Not too far away from Munich though.
