It would be boastful to proclaim Del Piero a god.

However, I do believe he is a saint.

That assistant was sh*t, not biased.  (He also got the offside call wrong against Matri at 79 minutes.)

the refereeing in general was just awful

The offside was a very close call where as our goal was not . Would have been a different game if it was 2-0 at HT not 1-0

Calciopoli version 2.0 perhaps? Hopefully, then Inter might get back to winning some games

Sure, whatever, just don't wear that material too thin - you'll need it when Juve win the Scudetto.

Typical.  I've hardly watched any of Juve's games live this season, tune in this morning and - Chievo equalise.

edit:  It was an exciting finish to the match, at least.

Heard that it was an own goal? Managed to watch 3 Sierre A matches, all had Juve in them. My god Del Piero is an old war axe..

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Bonucci got a touch on the ball, but it was credited to Drame.

Santo Alessandro did his best to salvage the points.  There were some good chances at the end, but Chievo worked hard and defended well.

Typical Serie A... oh, yeah, that's what you were saying.   Aren't you glad that Juve's back to define the league?

Only a few more games till Chiellini's 200th.

A preview for the match at Genoa.  Not feeling entirely confident about this one.  (And don't tell me there's no pressure. )

Old story.  I'm still waiting for Juve's defence to crumble, by the way.

Nice dress rehearsal for the cup final.  Hopefully nobody gets stage fright next month.

Both very good goals from Juventus, that wall Lazio tried to form was hopeless.

If Del Piero is still playing for Juve next year, it'll be 20 years for him at the club. quite amazing.

Apparently his contract isn't going to be renewed though. Marquee signing for the Nix!

That would be quite something, to bad I think he will just be to old.. Might see a Chinese club pick him up tbh.

rumour had it it would either be a Chinese team or an MLS one. I dunno if he's too old really - such a technical player, still performing well in Serie A. I'd say he's got at least 2 more years in him!

MLS would be an interesting one, think he'd absolutely dominate it. I guess if a Chinese club comes a knocking, MLS clubs would be instantly out of the race, they're offering insane amounts in China at the moment, wonder if it'll work..

I wouldn't rule out another season for Del Piero.  Homewood's Reuters article is fairly typical of widespread analysis.  The great man's old agent recently admitted he missed big transfer fees due to loyalty - "Del Piero is Juventus"

Would be interesting putting together a team of players over 35 yrs old. Del Piero would be in there probably with Nesta, Seedorf, Scholes, Giggs, Zanetti...

I thought Soccernet had done that, but the actual article is somewhat different.

Del Piero is linked with Udinese.

Which suggests that his other targets are Newcastle, Notts County, Atltico Mineiro, Santos FC, Dunfermline Athletic, and Botafogo.

That pretty much wraps it up. The last five include all three teams being relegated and nothing outside of the bottom half of the table, while Milan still have to play Genoa.

And Inter. We shouldn't write off Inter, I suppose.

Anything can happen in a derby.  However, I am glad to see order restored in Italy.  Now, about the rest of Europe...

Undeafeated, watch the match this morning very emotional, such a fantastic way for Del Piero to end his time at Juve.

He still wants to play.. You know.. We could do with a guy like Del Piero at the Nix. Dreams can come true.

Coppa Italia final soon, Napoli will be dying to smash Juve after their unbeaten season.

Del Piero starts in the Coppa Italia - in fact, Juve have a special strip dedicating the match to him.

Scoreless at half-time.
