Sorry, I thought you were talking about future revenue.

Still we got a fair wack for getting to the final anyway. Probably paid for the summers spending so far (as well as the players we offloaded).

Barclays Asia Trophy

Liverpool lost last night to Portsmouth in a penalty shootout David James kept them in the match and then saved from Torres and Bennayon to win 4-2.Momo was liverpools best player Torres looked sharp when he came on and Alonso looks back to his best.

I haven't really forgotten anything. my idea was that the capital invested by the owners would go towards building the team and whatnot. and of course a share of whateva is made out of the stadium revenue would also go towards players salaries etc. There's also the sponsorship deals and the new tv channel being set up soon that will add money to the club..

I dunno I just feel that Liverpool are in a better shape at the moment to invest in a new stadium and not be written into debt in a decades time mainly because we have owners who have set out a plan and have been successful in the past in implementing it, and we have a tradition of being successful and winning trophies, so I think we'll be fine.

like I said before, Arsenal didn't have the capital to back themselves up after the built the stadium, but I feel they should eb alright too. but you know only time will tell

To be perfectly honest i hope liverpool do  well this year, but mainly at the expense of Man-u and Chelsea. The games between liverpool and arsenal last year where some of the most entertaining ive seen in a long time. roll on October 28th UberGunner2007-08-02 09:17:09

Anyone know anything about this Sebastien Leto?

Apparently he is a 20 yo Argentinian winger that we signed at the end of last season (must have missed it).
He's just got his clearance sorted out and Rafa's planning to play him in the Rotterdam tournament.

Anyone know how good he is?

Sky NZ are a division of Sky international. so with Sky uk increaseing its coverage this season we should expect alot more games even if they are on delayed coverage.

It's alright Linds, HN's just havin' a go 'cos he knew I'd bite (and he's a little bitter from all the years of supporting sh*te teams himself )

The Setanta deal is only for the LFC TV channel so the normal rights deal for live and delayed games still exists (that's the deal worth an extra 60m pounds per team that's been in the news).

The LFC TV coverage is also available as part of the e-Season ticket on www.liverpoolfc.tv so if you have a good enough broadband connection it should be possible to watch every LFC EPL and UCL game in NZ.
