Anyone heading along to this game? I've got my ticket in the Away Supporters Bay, looking for a place for pre-match beverages. My Wanderers workmates are telling me the Woolpack is the place to go but I think they are trying to get me stabbed.
Western Sydney Wanderers vs. Wellington Phoenix, Sunday 20th October, Parramatta Stadium
Jump on to Sydney supporters Facebook page. Should be posted up by end of day or early tomorrow where we will be pre drinking, most likely rose and crown again as it was last season but its being confirmed first before put up. As soon as it is I'll post it up here for anyone who is coming.
Woolpack wouldn't be to bad it was wanderer's pub last year but I believe they are at the Roxy this year.
Just got 2 tickets for the game. The Away Area is sold out. Are there really that many Nix fans going? I wouldn't be surprised if the away area is full of WSW fans. Because they've sold so many memberships there aren't many tickets left for general sale. The guy at Ticketek reckoned they've sold more memberships than they allocated seats for, so they may be cannibalising the away area to fit people in.
If I remember from last season the Royal Oak was a good pub, slightly better than the Rose and Crown IMHO
If there are WSW supporters in our bay we will just have to make them regret it but making as much noise as possible.
Sounds like a recipe for disaster based on how I've seen and heard of any WSW fans treat opposing teams fans.

I see the team are staying at Coogee. Selina's the place for beverages & band if you're in the area.
Well, this could be fun tonight...
How was it on Sunday? Away zone looked to be packed with WSW fans?
Hope that's not the case on new years day, I want that corner to be strictly yellow/black so we can try get something going
Any of you still alive..?
The game was enjoyable. The Away Supporters Section was a bit of a farce, completely full of Wanderers fans. Potential for something to kick off in there if certain characters were present. Not policed well at all. Wanderers fans not the most imaginative types with every one of our chants rebutted with the classic "Sheepshaggers" chant. Gets old quick. RBB were in fine form at the other end. The lads came over at full time to acknowledge us and shake hands. Hopefully more of us there for New Year's Day.
