As with the dorkland match i am planning other activities for the weekend in harris brothers-ville. most likely are:

  • orana park - gorillas!!
  • antartic centre - snow cats
  • arts centre - ground zero cathedral
  • gondola

any other good family type places ?

Probably should've hijacked this thread a long time ago.

We have a supporters club in Christchurch of about 20-odd die hards that meet up to watch every match.

We watch Nix matches live at Spectators bar in Addington.

If it's a nice day Antigua Boatshed on the Avon river is not a bad way to spend a couple hours.

They rent out canoes and peddleboats to use on the avon. Popular with kids and tourists.

The Canterbury museum also has the Machines of Leonardo Da Vinci exhibit on display. Worth popping in for a half hour look.
