Auckland Nix / Blue Fever 2015-16

Given the desperate state of our club, thisis where we have to start getting organised.

Firstly, a regular bar to watch the games (home and away) on; secondly, a THUNDEROUS huge turnout to the R9 game in Albania.

So where are we for the R4 game?

If no-one else is going to put their hand up, I suppose I'll ask the Faltering Fullback in Kingsland what their plans are.

Well, the FF closes at 10pm on Mondays. So it's Foxes in the Viaduct unless anyone has any better ideas?

Well, it seems that what everyone says about JAFAs is true, so I'll be at the Kingslander tonight.

So how many Kingz/Knights games did you get to at Mt Smart?

Gaah. Flat tire so can't make it out tonight, soz. But let's sort out a venue for the next game?

Fox's in the Viaduct seems relatively central.

I didn't go to many of the Kingz games as I wasn't that old then, Only went when my parents took me. Went to pretty much all of the games at North Harbour with the knights and towards the end joined in with bloc 5!

Busy planning out our hikoi to Dorkland and things to do there over the game weekend.

This Kitekite Falls in Piha - worth the trek out there (weather dependent)?

Have also got as possible activities to inject a bit of Wgtn spondulix into the ailing Dorkland economy:

• Victoria Park Market
• Kelly Tarlton (penguins!!)
• Motat
• Waterfront/Britomart

I think you can pass on bullet points one two and three Junior. You would have to be drunk or stoned to remotely enjoy Motat

I drive by that every day - you can see it from the road. No need to pay and no it's not flying

We did the zoo a few seasons back.  Penguins are high on our list so kelly tarlton's is the only other option.  we've also done motat but still keen to see it again. would consider swapping for some sciencey physicsy place.

Don't bother with Victoria Park, there's been nothing there for years. You might want to check out the Wynyard Quarter on a Sunday, there are lots of kid-friendly things on this time of the year.

I read that Victoria Park Mkt was re-opening after having been closed for some time - so I thought it might be like it was back in the day.

No worries - teenagers don't do mornings anyway.

if you haven't done it catch a ferry to the big volcano in the sea and take a hike to the top. It gives a lovely view of this beautiful city

Ah, well. I'll be in The Kingslander tomorrow night unless anyone has a better offer.

If anyone on the Shore wants to watch the game tonight flick me a message. Trying to get a few of my mates to go and watch it at the pub!

Sadly I will be in Auckland this Saturday instead of Welly as planned. I am planning to watch the Nix v Brisbane at The Fox, unless someone can tell me a better venue where there might be a few other Nix fans.

This thread makes me miss J82 even more.
