When posting chant ideas, I strongly encourage you to take the time to google/youtube search, find a video or audio file, and include a link to the song you are basing the suggestion on. That way, people who have never heard of, or are only vaguely familiar with the song you are talking about can have a listen. It really helps get people's head arounf your suggestion.

1. Copy [Ctrl + C] the url of the youtube.com (or other site) page that has the video.

2. In the message you are composing, highlight the text that you want to become the link.

3. Then click on the link icon (in the red rectangle in the screenshot below)

4. Click in the URL box (in the red rectangle in the screenshot below) and paste [Ctrl + V] the URL you copied in step 1. and then click the [INSERT] button.

Viola. The text you selected will now be a link.

Haven't looked at the forums all day but had this stuck in my head all day at work.

However it may have more to do with my penchant for 70's and 80's disco music!

Okay, I realise this is pretty horrible and it probably won't get off the ground (it's not really a chanty tune and not easy to repeat over & over) - but if someone who's better at this than me thinks they can make a go of it, then it might be worth a try.

We MUST be able to do something with this... it's pace and rythym are good for a chant. It's got Fever and Burn... 

So, let's start developing ideas.

I don't have it finished but I was thinking something like (but feel free to try and improve it - especially the first verse. Can someone football-ise it?)

He could’ve scored three if he tried.

Think we decided to use that for Alex Rodriguez this season, his name fits a bit better than 'Burnsy Burns' in my opinion.

How about changing the last line to reflect the opposition, as in "Burns defences down" or "Burns goalies down" or more specifically for each game  "Burns (team) down"

The "Nah nah nah. nah-nah-nah, nah-nah-nah, hey Jude" part could be cool for a chant but I don't think it fits well with Burns.

I was just thinking that we didn't have a chant for Burns,  but the 'Phoenix Inferno' chant is great. He definitely deserves his own chant by now!

Tried getting it going a couple of times again yesterday, again no one joined in.

I thought the kazoo version of Aida was good.  Should have tried it for a bit longer.

Perhaps a concerted effort of a few rounds of this at the Back Bencher pre-gam on the 28th?
