Not quite as good as last years 11-1 Qtown result but still right up there and worth the trip. I dont want to go to work tomorrow

Cracking weekend down in Dunners, seems every time we travel to watch the goals come in the multitudes.

We actually liked the way Uni was playing, lots of nice little passes and runs for each other, and they had a couple of close chances in the first team minutes. They ended up getting monstered by a quick press or sloppy touch however.

It does leave it interesting for the last 2 rounds tho, if we beat Tech and Nelson (I know.....) then we win the league! And if we hadn't lost to Western who also got pumped on the weekend we woulda had an even better shout!

Bring on next weekend!

Yes a three way battle between Suburbs, Technical, and Coastal. Big clash this Saturday between Tech and Coastal, with a loss to either  team ending their hopes of catching Suburbs.

For those heading down to watch Nomads take on Cavvy it is a 12:30pm kick-off, not Midday like the earlier SFL games at Tulett Park.

Tight game  - as expected, at Garrick yesterday with Technical scoring in 1st half added time after a bit of class from Aaron Clapham and good finish from Luke Tongue. Lyle Matthysen then doubled the lead straight after the break. On the hour,Sean Liddicoat received a second yellow and before play resumed, Coastal down to nine as player sent to sin bin. Tech followed up with two more goals in the space of six minutes, before the hard working Tristan Nicol got a goal back for Coastal, before Tech added their final goal in added time.

A week can been a long time in footy, from your biggest away win in the league to then suffering your biggest defeat.

When I was heading away a few Coastal fans were questioning why the need for so many chances to the starting line-up from one week to the next.

Yer very tough day out yesterday, and dealt to accordingly. Tech are too good, full of national reps who just overran us in the second half. Did help we were down to 9 at one point, and I thought both of the two yellows were pretty soft. Also a really good penalty shout in the first half went unanswered. I can't count how many times we have been on the wrong end of decisions in these games but I guess that's another reason why we were paying $5.75.

All in all, another thrilling game between two good teams.
