Some of you seriously need to let it go it's becoming bloody boring the constant blaming the refs for what's happening. It wasn't the refs who missed those chances or conceded a couple of soft goals late in the 1st half. We have been below par for a number of games recently and blaming the refs dosnt hide that.

Yes he was poor but it's not just us getting the bad calls just seems we play the persecution card more than other teams.

We need to get back into the form we had earlier as that takes the red out of the equation.

nobody's blaming the ref for the loss, at least I hope not. We deserved to lose as Pop was great as usual but who knows what could have happened if, say, a Cap 1 ref was there instead

Sorry have you even read some of the posts across various sites,YES he is being blamed by many

blaming the ref for the loss is clearly silly, he didt cost us the game but he was rubbish and clearly influenced the outcome - the red card hurt us big time - would we have won with devlin still on the park - unlikely but we could have come back for a draw. I think our usual disruptive midfield play was stifled by the refs early yellows against us, it was made worse cos Perth could be disruptive and aggressive in the tackles for longer cos they werent getting the same yellows called against them.

Lucky we still did have Devlin on the field then.

I wonder how much the game would have changed if Rimmer had been given a straight red for that first tackle? It deserved a yellow at least and he got away with nothing being done.

True- commentators were saying clear yellow, but you've seen them given red...

I don't think it was a red - but definitely a yellow.

Over the last month we have played Roar, CCM, Jets and Perth that all play with a back 3. Roar, CCM and Perth playing 343 and Jets 352.

We have looked poorer in these games. The pace of the attacking players (wide players for Roar, CCM and Perth - strikers for Jets) and wingbacks of those teams is causing us problems. Our full backs are being pegged back and our wide attacking players are being forced deeper and doing a lot of tracking back. Also when our wide attackers cut inside it ends up with our 4 attackers in a tight area with 5 opposition players and our full backs covered by opposition wingbacks or a bit deeper mindful of opposition attackers.

Only the recent game against WUN where a back 3 wasn't a problem and the big difference is a lack of pace they have.
