Another game dominated with no win, Sydney had their chances but the Nix were the better team for much of the game, please let WU be the team where it all clicks and we absolute hammer. The lack of subs when players were clearly tiring was wierd though.

We had a good game against a very good opposition. We lost two soft goals and scored two great goals. We kept our composure and defended well. Probably it worked in our favour that SydFC are not a fast running team and that their tactics were very similar to ours and we could read them. Enjoyable game, great to watch. So happy to see that ten rounds in we are a much better team than early on.

Agreed. McCowatt seems to have slipped down the pecking order because I thought he was tailor made to come on in this game.
Nevertheless considering we gave them two goals on a plate that was a brilliant effort. The squad are clearly accumulating confidence with every positive result.

Struggling for top 6 was my best case scenario at the start of the season. Top 4 might be too much of a stretch with that defence. There's a missing piece or two of the jigsaw back there. Some good squad depth though so overall many reasons to be cheerful.

I'm already really happy with what Uffie's done; it's just a little frustrating because we're *so close* to being up with the top teams, just missing something up top for mine.

Those can happen; have seen the best strikers in the world do similar. Hard to be too angry at him considering his finish for the 2nd.

So good knowing that Davilla is contracted for another year lets hope that we can also get some more re-signings done soon so we don't have another Krishna situation.
What a shame, should have won that comfortably but conceded two pretty soft goals and missed 3 or 4 that really should have seen the game dead and buried. I guess you have to take the positives, but that's disappointing in the end. Cacace was great. And I wish we still had Kurto.

stoked to be complaining about losing 2 points there, Sydney are top of the table and we bossed them for large parts of that game.
Thought we played really well but ran out of gas in the last 20 minutes. Hooper just doesn't look right to me physically. Definitely proud of how well this team has come back in the past two seasons given the sharkshow off the field alongside the many changes in personnel, they've showed a lot of heart and commitment.
odd subs tonight. Think we ran out of gas and needed support of our bench which didn’t come. I think we they review this, they will look at what else Uffie could have done to influence the result.
But 2nd week of out playing a top top side. Very encouraging for our system and how Uffie is progressing this group.
Still need to get hoops in the starting 11. But now that other attacking players are stepping up, this isn’t as dire as it could of been.
On the croud, I was really impressed in the noise that was made from the almost 9k in attendance.
I like that against the best team in the league it feels like we should have won because of our performance.
Against lower teams if we keep that energy up it should be a great second half to the season.
