Is Fallon still kicking about?

Looks like he was coaching Upper Hutt this season. Dunno if that means he isn't involved in the Academy anymore tho.

If so a big fall from grace given he was part of PAFC's back room and a manager of an English professional club. Obviously a case of a good player, shark coach.

Can’t be too shark, just got Upper Hutt promoted to Central League for the first time in 12 years.

This is possibly the most concerning thing I've seen so far. Doesn't bode well for next year at all.

That one is not good. For all the negative football played this year and goal keeper shenanigans, the amount of goals shipped was acceptable.

Most of these had been announced before right?
Dome did say that people had lost jobs becuase of the performance this season, this maybe the cleanout that is required.
Decision was to keep Italian and replace some of the ideas being given to him, or just simply its time for some of thse people to move on.

Certainly Griffiths is a big loss. Ditto Rueben Parker. This all yes does nothing to quell some of those rumours Chiefy wasn't functioning well with some of the staff.

Gill said some of the younger guys (head physio, kit man?), like many young Kiwis were wanting to head off on the great OE.

Who comes in now to assist Italiano will be very interesting.

He signed a 2 year deal to join the Nix. I wouldn't be shocked if Uffie hasn't poached him to help fix Sydney's defence.

So we’re talking about a bunch of people whose contracts were not renewed, perhaps hiding that we might have liked to keep Griff, but he was out of contract and off elsewhere?

Wonder if any doing a podcast knows his number, because that would be an episode to listen to!

I think Adam wanted to go back to Oz to be with family. he was on the phone a fair bit before and after training sessions. Missing the whanau. Shame as he worked wonders with the defence. It could've been oh so much worse.

Be interesting with the backroom decks cleared. I must slip Chiefy my CV. I wonder if being a Nix fan counts??

I've wondered if Griffiths, the defense coach, was the main reason for Nix's success last year, and for them finishing as high as they did this year.
Not conceding, and scoring on the break is a boring strategy to watch, but it can work well.
Guess we'll soon find out.

Well Chief brought him in iirc? Again the manager should get a bunch of power, but also take responsibility when it goes wrong. But yeh, Griff seems to have fans and there’s no doubt our defense has been a feature of our play.

Off season ahead. Oh so so long and dull.

That list of departures is grim.  Pierre was right, guess it is only a matter of time before the Kosta is leaving announcement.  Trying to look for the silver lining but struggling.

Wootton & Sutton will be happy.
Should help Oli, to have Griffiths coaching the guys ahead of him.

That's if Sail stays at the Glory. But Perth's defence has often been woeful since he moved there. Given Griffith's impressive track record, he will go a long way to sorting that out.
