And now, the end is here;
And so you lot face the final vomit on curtain.
My friend, you'll say it clear,
you'll state your case, of which you're certain.

You've lived a life that's full.
You've travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this, You
did it your way.

Regrets, you've had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
you did what you had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

you planned each charted podcast;
Each careful drunken step along the byway,
And more, much more than this, you
did it your way.

I think I've listened from episode one and I can honestly say the best thing about it was the podcast artwork.

You keen to whip up some artwork for my U20's pod Special One?

Monday, and you can pay me $10 for the privilige. Sound okay?

Not gonna lie, I almost fired it off prematurely when they were talking about the lappy happening to the dulcet tones of In the Zone.

Although actually not a bad idea, paying you for extra time sets a dangerous precedent. Smithy, avert thine eyes.

I've loved the pod for the last 2 seasons.

If you don't come back next season I will weep forever.

You shall be missed.

Mad kudos to Patrick for organising our last episode. We would have been way too lazy otherwise.

I'm genuinely sorry you guys have decided to call it a day. It has been good fun, occasionally informative and even educational. It might sound like $1.95 but I know you've put in a lot of time and effort into helping raise the profile of the Nix and NZ football in general. The club really needs a podcast so enough with the lazy-arse excuses: have a break, freshen up and get yourselves back on the field again soon. I want to hear you muttering bleakly into your 6am piss weak hot chocolates, "Just when I thought I was out they pulled me back in".

I did really enjoy ITZ live, might have been even more enjoyable for you lot too (drinks, nachos and cake FTW). So whatever rises from the ashes of ITZ maybe be more sensible and give the 6am starts a miss and do it live one take (no editing) - live twitter banter has potential (or even take calls).

Overall good stuff (and I have 117 episodes (and a few interviews) at work if anyone wants some reminiscing)

In order to do one without having to meet up at 6am etc. for next year You could do one over Skype using screen capture etc then upload to youtube, you can also edit it as a audio only and upload to iTunes etc. Various gaming podcasts are done like this (PKA is a really good example with 200+ weekly episodes).

This would offer a number of advantage's

1. you don't have to be in the same place or even city, you could have regular hosts form Welly, Orcland, Palmy or even overseas.

2. Most guests would have Skype so you can put faces to names etc and would hopefully help fix some of the audio issues.

3. adds another element for sponsors of ITZ/Yellow fever to get some face time with fans etc.

It would take someone semi competent with screen capture and audio conversion but wouldn't be hard to learn, I have streamed and done youtube videos before and if I can do it anyone with half a brain can can lol.

Thanks for all the early morning recordings and time you guys put into the pod.  With my work I don't get a lot of time to keep up with local coal face footie so ITZ was a blessing.

Enjoy retirement circle jerkers.
