Hadn't played tanks for a while so loaded it up yesterday to have a blast. Went on a winning streak that ended with this match.

I've been on a horror run lately.  Playing okay but losing way too many.  Recent is about 53%.

Trying to do the light-15 mission is going to be the death of me.

Just saw your ELC replay -that was fun to watch -I suspect Incom raged in teamspeak -good damage assistance

InCom was surprisingly quiet.

I'm loving the lights at the moment.  Missed the 4k spotting for LT15 by around 300 twice last night.  3.8k spotting in the 13 90 and 3.7k in the T-71.Bloody Manic and JOC failed by 1 shot to get me it.

Playing DayZ I've not been on for awhile and my fully geared toon has been wiped. All good cuse I love starting again.

As a noob I ran to a small town I knew that it was unlikely to be looted met one random guy on the way.

FT: Do not f*ck with me or I'll kill you.

RG: Ok i'll go the other way.

FT: Make sure you do

later I get an axe and a backpack and meet another new spawn.

FT: Do not f*ck with me or I'll kill you, (see a pattern here?)

RG#2: That's not very nice, I'll follow you.

FT: You have 5 seconds to run away in the opposite direction or I'll kill you, 5,4,3,

RG#2: Help me build a boat

FT: What?

RG#2: I want to sail to America

FT: There is no America, it's gone

RG#2: Help me build a boat.

FT: If you follow me again I'll kill you.

RG#2: Please help me build a boat

FT: Ok you were warned....

I love DayZ

Do you play CSGO?

Jnr Jnr is hooked on it.  It consists of his taking on another team.  The main feature is that he shouts loudly at everyone regardless of if his team wins or loses

I just copped a 3 day chatban in tonks.  Longest three days of my life. How will the pubbies know they are shark if I don't tell them.

Even worse was an evening platooning with two others who copped the same ban for the same thing at the same time.  None of us could offer them advice.

During the last world cup tanks put out a short term game (in the game) where you drove tanks with a large metal ball.  From what I have seen Rocket League looks like someone has taken that game and added bells and whistles.

Haven't played it but mainly because I only have time to be shark at one game.

Let me know how you get on.

I'm hoping to have a bit of cash flow at the end of the year (Yeah right).  Have asked Jnr Jnr to spec up a machine that will allow him to play CSGO without lagging and just by the by be able to cope with a bit of FIFA...

Also have to get a notebook for Jnrette - seems to be the essential study aid for secondary schools these days.

The other thing I'd like (not a pony - that's for babies) would be a set of Northumbrian pipes, but then I'd have to teach myself how to play them.

No good? The Golf game? I'm gutted that EA are no longer making Fifa Manager. Just been burning my older CD's to my Xbox 360. I recommend you  play a Pink Floyd CD on your Xbox 360 and hit the "Y" button as the CD starts, full screen and the sound of Floyd - You don't need to take drugs. The pictures will do it for ya.

Sorry for the thread distraction. Battlefield for the 360 could be interesting.

Less customization than Tiger Woods had 5 years ago, rendering is amateur in parts and sound comes in and out. Actual game play in career mode is decent BUT online is crap - you don't play shot for shot, you play the round simultaneously as any opponent so you don't get to see their shots.

Have you sorted this out yet? Stink time to buy now, exchange rate is making things expensive. Are you building yourself?

I built my first PC just over a month ago, didn't go Sklake because it is expensive and no stock cooler included pushes price up even further - as well as 100 series mobo and ddr4 are more expensive. Went i7 4790 as I wanted the 8 threads over just the 4 physical cores with i5, DX12 is able to utilise more than 4. Could go for the 4790k get the extra mhz boost without even overclocking and can still overclock if you want. I only went for a 550w psu, I have a m-itx build so no cross-fire or sli I have a GXT 970. 750w is more than enough for a single card build. I went for 16gb of ram, m-itx only has 2 dimm slots so easy to go for 2x8 than getting 2x4 and then having to get rid of the ram modules if you want to upgrade later. Nice thing about a few m-tix mobos is that it has wifi cards built in. Got a crucial bx100 500gb ssd, which is nothing amazing but ssds are amazing - system boots in less than 15secs. Don't need another hdd at this stage, as I have a few external usb drives.

Looking at the GPUs in the list above, 960 might out perform 380 in some dx11 and older titles (pretty close) but 380 looks like it is better for dx12 titles (none yet to be released) due to asynchronous compute of amd gcn cards. Of those 2 I would be leaning towards to the sklake build - and possibly switch the 960 for a 380 - which should give you pretty good performance on current titles and then in a year could add a 2nd 380 (possibly 2nd hand) and run it in crossfire (no bridge required) for improved performance - crossfire scales better than sli. In 5-6 yrs time just one of those gpus might start struggling to keep up.

Still using the cranky old comp. Fighting on US servers. It still works so I'm going to stick with this computer until it dies.

I'm still playing Warthunder (Men's version of WOT), Yes I'm not going to play Star Wars ladyboy game.

Just got a 7 kill  in a textbook "brawling in a medium tank" match - it's what I do best. Look I only lost the one tank.

I'm Now Sir_Campalot.

I still get into trash talks having been accused of being a "40yr old fat fudgeing Brit" - I wish - I'm 43

After the horror of the football I played Warthunder and probably one of the best games I've ever played.

Bagged 7 but what was great I was against  3 tanks with a tank on my side without a gun trying to shield me. I was in the IS-1 against a KV-2 , T-34-85, and an American M18 I think.

Killed the T-34-85 first as I knew that was the dangerous one, due to reload speed and it's shells

KV-2 next as although it had missed me, it was close to reloading and could one shot me.

The Hellcat was easy peasy.

All one-shooted with me trying to keep my cool.

Have you tried Armored Warfare yet FT?  Well worth a look - only just gone into open beta but I've been playing on and off since early access and its interesting to see their learnings from WOT.  IMO its better than both WOT and WT (which I personally thought was arse).

I can't get better than 15 fps on it so even though I have already joined a clanlike thing it will probably have to wait until I have a better machine.

If you fancy joing a battalion or whatever the fudge they are called there are a bunch of ex WoT guys who are in the International Division 10th Tank regiment or [ID10T].  They use our WoT TeamSpeak.

Sort of baulked at the 19gig download. Also the WT peeps that have tried it have been sneering, we are a pompous elitist bunch that look down on other inferior tank and plane games.

I'm like HN I know I'm going to have to upgrade but I'm putting it off as the comp is functioning at an ok level.

Great exchange in WarThunder with a lame exploit using scumbag. I'm Sir Campalot.

Akanechan: I'm running a GTX970 on lowest settings :P

Me: Why?

Akanechan: No grass or trees, easy spotting.

Me: So you are using an in-game exploit then?

Akanechan:Yeah

Me: Classy

Me: At school did you used to break the kneecaps of the other kids at the 100m so you could win?

Akanechan: No I skipped track-meet

Me: (looking at his player card he's well under 50% win rate) It's not helped your win rate much has it?

Akanechan: Nah I was playing on ultra, (settings, would not effect his win rate at all).

Me: I run a dog of a card a tie560ii which freezes all the time on medium with grass and trees with sh*tty internet and my win rate is 58.4%

Akanchan: In a T34? (soviet tanks are overpowered)

Me: I'm not the only one who drives Soviet tanks.

Me: (about 5 seconds later) Ahh look I just killed a T34 (Sir Campalot [T34-85] destroyed Teveo [T34-85] )

Akanechan: I suck at the game I've gtg.

Soviet tanks are overpowered, I wouldn't even play German tanks between Battle Ratings of 5.0 - 6-3 but the BR system is so screwed at the moment my top tank BR of 5.3 is being thrown against other tanks including every other Soviet player up to BR 6.3. So it evens it out.

I also play British, which have been nerfed and I'm not too shabby with them.

Been jamming gravity Rush on PS4.  Such an excellent remaster of an excellent Vita game.

Bob Semple Tank.  Kiwi designed and made during World War II

Glad it didn't have to go up against any of the Chi-Ha medium tanks or even the  German PZ family. D's,E's and H's. Or in fact any tank really.
