I'd really like to know what you know exactly about what has happened since he carried out that vile assault on his wife/girlfriend. Have you gleaned all of your information from the media or do you know something else? I certainly don't know exactly what has happened or even if he has shown any remorse at all outside of the media gaze. So its pretty rich to base your quite rabid opinion without knowing all of the facts. I don't give a fudge whether or not he's on TV or just some suburban wife beater - what I do care about is people being vilified for things without there being any basis to back the accusations up. Yes, he committed an horrific assault and has been called to account, now you are saying he has shown no remorse etc etc - there is no way in the world you can know that.

Sounds like you're making excuses for him.
Until I hear it from Veitch himself or his ex-partner, I'll always assume he's a victim blaming, violent person with little remorse for anything other than his own status and career.
...and your approach is to give him a fair go because he MAY have apologised?
If Veitch had apologised, he'd be the first to tell everyone who would listen.
Have you actually taken time to read the summary of facts...understand all that went on?
If you haven't, read it and you might understand by "rabid opinion". if you have read it and it still doesn't change your stance, then I'm appalled.
