Sounds like he had a good game from this review last week for the reserves, he scored one and set up two.
i see he has been named in the squad for the game against man city this sunday. i think it will be very likely he gets some more game time. that czech player looks like he will miss the game. Bednar's injury last week played a hand in Wood getting the call-up.

Chris wood was on the subs bench for the must win or go down game yesterday (Sunday) against Liverpool, which they lost 2 - nil.
Unfortunately he didn't get a run on the park, but who knows what they will do for their final game against Blackburn Rovers on Sunday their time. Will they play some of their up and coming players, like Wood, there isnt anything on the game for either side.
It would be great to see Wood against Nelsen in the last game of the season, the old pro against the new boy.
However Nelsen picked up a calf injury and came off just before halftime and may not make it on for the final game. Hope it isnt too serious with our confed cup games just around the corner

That would be great, to see Wood versus Nelsen. Would possibly do Woods chances of starting a world of good if he could impress our Captain and give him a run around.
With Brom going down, I think Chris should get a good run for the team next season in the Championship.
