Williams was benched after 10 consecutive appearances and 9 consecutive matches without a clean sheet last matchday when Etienne Vaessen played instead and led them to a clean sheet win (2–0) over Achilles '29. Despite Achilles being last this looks good for Vaessen who perhaps might take over from now.

Today RKC Waalwijk play away to Fortuna Sittard (13th).

On 9 December they lost 6–2 away at Almere City. No red cards or anything, just a poor performance from the team. Yesterday they drew 2–2 at home to Cambuur.

The Dutch second division now enters its winter break. Williams' next match will be away to Telstar, who are 15th on the table. Waalwijk are currently 11th (out of 20) with 28 points and a goal difference of −1.

Good point actually. That makes me wonder, why has Van den Broek not been called up again? Second Dutch division should be enough for the All Whites, shouldn't it be?

Another ex ACFC player plying his trade in the Dutch 2nd Div. Williams has been a regular between sticks for RKC Waalwijk this season, starting 19 of 21 games.

Waalwijk beat Telstar 4-0 a few weeks ago with both Williams and Benji van den Broek (Telstar), featuring.

So there is now at least 3 Kiwis in this league. Be interesting to see if Williams makes next AWs squad for Fiji games in March. Marinovic, Moss & Gleeson (if all available) you think would squeeze him out.

I wonder if this new 3+1 rule will see Auckland City make a play for Williams.

He's behind Jacob Rinne who just happens to be a Swedish international, looks like Tamati will be competing for 2nd spot with a young American keeper

Seems to have secured the no 2 keeper spot already.

Has been on the bench for AaB's last 2 Danish SuperLiga games, including a 0-0 against Danish heavy weights Brondby.

Tamati Williams has been released by AAB in Denmark after his short-term contract.

Turns out that he was only signed as a sort-term injury replacement for their regular number two keeper who is fit again now:

https://aabsport.dk/nyheder/2017/december/afsked-m...

"In August, New Zealander Tamati Williams, who last appeared in the Netherlands at RKC Waalwijk, was retrieved as a back-up for Jacob Rinne, when Michael Lansing had a long-term back injury, which now seems to be improving.

33-year-old Tamati Williams has not yet had a playtime for AaB's best crew.

"We would like to thank both Jakub and" Tama "for their efforts for AaB, in addition to their societal characteristics, they have contributed well to the community," says AaB Sports Director Allan Gaarde.

"In both cases, we agree that cooperation will end, and we wish Jakub and" Tama "good luck in their continued career, says Allan Gaarde.
