So I decided to start a career with the Nix but to make things difficult I would simulate every match and make a realistic squad (only 5 imports, trying to improve NZ young players, buying Aussies to be squadies). After severly struggling in the first season I managed to build a decent squad and by the third season I won both the premiership and the championship. In the fourth season I got hired by NZF to take care of the AW who had an amazing squad (mostly made of young kiwis that I had promoted). As I already had a really good squad with the Nix and was basically bossing the A-League I wanted to try my best and see if I could win the 2022 World Cup. I was training every kiwi I had to make the AW squad as best as possible when at the beggining of my fifth season I got fired because of those stupid objectives. They asked me to have like a $16 millon income and I only had 1 or 2 millon. Brisbane hires me and I try to take my young kiwis with me to keep training them but after one match they fired me which was super weird. Went to Accrington Stanley in the EFL 2 and decided that I didn't care anymore about my club career and all I wanted was just to play the 2022 WC. I was getting good results in friendlies and the team was already a four stars one (originally NZ only has 2.5). And then a glitch killed the whole thing as every time I have to pick the AW squad for a friendly the game crashes. I guess I should get Football Manager to do things like this because in FIFA you only need a good scout and you can continuously promote 19 years old that end up with 80 overall which makes things way to easy when playing with average sides like the Phoenix

I am doing player career mode and when I get to thirty odd, I'll retire and hopefully move into managment. As a 19 year old I started off valued at 750,000 pounds, currently I'm 24 and worth 49,000,000 and my rating has gone from 61 up to 85 thanks to going out hard core on the training all the time. Still as the 19 year old and getting loaned out to Shrewsbury Town, I miss them. A good little club.

Honestly hate the financial objectives for the Nix because they're genuinely impossible. "End the season with $11,000,000 remaining funds" yet they only give you 2 or 3 mil to start with. Fudgeing shambles, means I can never do a career mode where i bring Rojas back

Honestly all objectives suck but the financial ones are the worst. Like when the best players you have are midfielders yet they ask you to hire a midfielder and that makes you change your whole plan for the season

The added costs and clauses for transfers really hurt when you have a club like the nix too. Very hard to sign anyone from any league better than the A-League when the financial objectives suffocate you. Wish you could chose whether to have objectives or not

The board probably expected you to sell your young players for a big fee e.g. 10 mil.

Average rating also Krishna wanted to leave so i sent him out on loan and recalled him back after the transfer window, just won 4-0 at home vs Brisbane, board wanted playoffs 6th or 5th place after the transfer window signed Slyvain Gbohouo (free agent Ivorien gk) Fraser Arid (Candaian right sided man also free agent) Ozcan (Koln midfielder) on loan and a lot of pre contract players, sold Lowry to AC Horsens for 140 000 and I loaned out Singh to Crewe Alexandra.

I recommend transferring players offline in the customize menu first before you start a career mode. I've just done it and it makes everything a lot better, you can't make ambitious bjut realistic signings otherwise due to the stupid financial objectives. You don't have to spend any money on transfers and you have the players you want from the get go. Means you have to create players like Cacace, Velaphi, Smith, but gives you more freedom. I got rid of a load of players and brought in Carl Valeri, Ivan Franjic, Tim Payne, Justin Gulley and as my "Marquee" players I put in a striker from Real Valladolid called Jaime Mata and a CAM from the Colombian league called Johan Arango (who is an absolute god by the way). Super good team with still heaps of the guys we have now, and is realistic but ambitious signings

Anyone been doing the online leagues? I've made it up to div 3, think this is where I'll really start to struggle. Definitely get frustrated by the way the lag can kill the game off. I've had several easy goals for opponents when you're timing gets out of sync because your players go 3/4 speed.

You'd think by now FIFA would be able to make realistic table finishes for teams and realistic top scorers. I'm sorry, but Mitch Austin on 16 goals for the Victory and Bobo and Berisha each on 5 is bollocks. Also this game is so broken it says Sarpreet Singh is 57 and has a transfer value of $0, so there goes my financial plan of training him up and shipping him off to Europe for big bucks. I only even realised this when CCM offered me a transfer fee of $0 in the January window

Just got this game for Nintendo Switch and considering getting Football Manager Touch aswell. It's missing a couple of modes that I don't really care about but other than that its good. Don't think they used the frostbite engine for the Switch version so it's much like FIFA 17, from what I hear that new engine has been garbage for FIFA physics.

That's always been a problem. The Jets are second yet most times they finish in the bottom of the table. Other thing that I see a lot is that usually the best team that has most money will eventually start to finish first by a big difference. Some can even finish a season having played more than 30 matches without losing any of them

Any player born after 1998 turns 57 if you edit them before you start the career mode. Bug’s been in the game for like 5 years now (it was 1997 for FIFA 15, 1996 for FIFA 14 etc.) without ever being fixed for some ungodly reason

I went for a revenge of my last carrer so did the same (simulating most matches with the Nix but playing with NZ) but instead of playing in the A-League I started in EFL 2. Made the team basically a factory of kiwis to make the best possible AW side. Only managed to get promoted to the Premier League in season 2021/22 right before the WC.

I was getting amazing results in friendlies with NZ. Some players become beasts by 2022 like Singh (79), Thomas (84), Wood (79) and even Bevan (74). But I had terrible luck with injuries and lost some key players in defence. After beating the Netherlands and Cameroon and drawing with Austria in the group stage I managed to beat Portugal 2-1 but got knocked out by eventual champions England. It kind of sucked but is the first time I make it past the group stage with NZ in a FIFA career though

Cacace for sure 56 is a bit to low ATM around 59 or 60 and maybe even Sail looked decent for the nix. Also Wynne played every minute for the rapids this season and is doing well, should be 64 or 64 instead of 61, potential should be around 73. Other than that ratings looked good especially Singh has some very nice stats.

doing a similar thing in league 2. However, I wanted to keep as many nix players as i could as well. But 4 games into the first season, Krishna and Rossi threw their toys and left, then ridenton and singh suffered season long injuries. ffs. But I signed brocks and musa for free which aint bad.
