In a dynasty league I took over an Orphan, going for rebuild...traded for Winston (bench QB was Watson), got Stills, Brate, Cameron all lined up to start..I was probably already losing, now I am definitely losing. (Did add Bradford from waivers though)

I hopefully tonight will be able to do some updates about players and practising this week, any injury news etc. (And Possibly previews of Week 1 match-ups)

Can I ask that people reject offers that they are not keen on, as opposed to just ignoring them until they expire? I am throwing trades out all over the gaff, the majority of which are getting ignored. It means that I don't know if people are seeing them and thinking that they are terrible offers, or if they just haven't seen them.

90 points from 3 players is crazy. Hunt did well considering he started with his first ever fumble.

hah, I'm hoping this is a sign of things to come, Khunt the new DJ...you heard it here first...!

More likely I'll win week1 by 200pts then lose the following weeks by 200pts+. But loving the start. The offseason has been way too long

I set the over/under next week on Hunt at 45yds 0.5TDs LOL

Great start to his career, one thing I was happy about was seeing White get most snaps of NE RBs, Lewis is really on the outers...

I think his role is less than Blount, but the TDs look to be his (Can see 18), Yards to be lower though.

agreed, although rumours of Dion Lewis being on the trade block could help declutter that backfield a little.

As soon as Edelman was ruled out for the season, Chris Hogan was the value (alongside Amendola). 1 reception for 8 fudgeing yards.

Player News

First of a few updates today

David Johnson (RB, NP) - David Johnson has a wrist injury, there has been a lot thrown around, from "Can Play Week 2" to Out 3-4 months. Latest seems to be minimum of 2-3 weeks, but is talking with doctors today. Bruce Arians said situation appears similar to TJ.Logan, he is out 12 weeks. Cardinals are going to sign Chris Johnson, appears they will go to RBBC with K.Williams, C.Johnson & A.Ellington. Arians has also confirmed it is a dislocated Wrist. Cardinals have signed DJ. Foster off the Patriots practice squad.

Kenny Britt (WR, AY) - The Browns refuse to commit to Britt as a Wk 2 starter, he had a brutal drop and others around him looked much better in this game (This is my first rewatch today)

Duke Johnson (RB, GAUL) - The Browns used him solely at WR on Sunday, but have come out today and said this was gameplan specific. With just 2 catches for 20yds he doesn't look usable right now.

Kevin White (WR, VAM) - Has been placed on IR with a fractured shoulder blade. Out for the season AGAIN, that is now 3 straight seasons. He has a career total of 21 Receptions for 193yds.

Samaje Perine (RB, FAIR) - Didn't even play a snap against the Eagles on Sunday. Robert Kelley had 10 carries for 30yds, Chris Thimpson had 7 Touches for 56yds & 1TD.

Ty Montgomery (RB, NP) - Montgomery played all but 8 snaps, and most of those were missed when he left with a minor injury, he touched the ball 23 times for 93yds & 1TD

Paul Richardson (WR, RMTC) - Richardson was clearly the 2nd WR in the rotation in Seattle, with 4 catches for 59yds he should manage to keep his job as well.

Corey Davis (WR, GAUL) - Having missed all of camp it was thought he would get a smaller workload, but he played 2/3rds of Titans snaps, behind Decker & Matthews. Matthews (5 for 71), Decker (3 for 10), Davis (6 for 69), I have a feeling Decker could even lose his starting slot role to Taylor (2 for 14)

Matt Forte, Bilal Powell (RBs, AY) - The Jets back field ended up a near even split, Foirte got 5 more snaps, Powell got 3 more touches, but the Jets is a dumpster fire, unless one of them takes the job neither is really startable right now.

Chris Carson (RB,IR) - He was clearly the best of the Seahawks, he got half of all snaps, and 7 touches for 49yds, Lacy (5 for 3), Prosise (4 for 11) were bad, Carson looks to be the lead guy until Rawls gets back, and then who knows what will happen.

Javorius Allen (RB, SWRL) - He had more touches than anyone else, but the blowout nature of the game may have decided this.

Danny Woodhead (RB, MET) - He suffered a Hamstring injury in the game, the Ravens fear it will be significant time missed.

Deshaun Watson (QB, USOS) - He entered the game at half time and performed much better than Savage, is the likely starter on Thursday night.

Brandon Marshall (WR, SWRL) - A bit of a dumpster, he only got a single catch, on 4 targets, this is not going to make him fantasy relevant.

Darren McFadden (RB, RMTC) - Was a surprise inactive, looks like Alfred Morris is the back-up here, unless it is that Morris is the back for a change of pace, while McFadden would start in replacing Zeke.

Allen Robinson (WR, NP) - Is out for the season with a torn ACL

Tavon Austin (WR, IR) - Had a poor game and is at best the 4th WR on the Rams, he is behind Watkins, Kupp & Robert Woods.

Cooper Kupp (WR, VAM) - A very good debut for the rookie, 4 catches for 76yds & a TD

Sammy Watkins (WR, NUCK) - 5 for 58 for Watkins, he showed a good partnership with Goff.

Jonathan Stewart (RB, GAUL) - Started the game for Panthers, but shared the job with McCaffrey, 18 Rushes for 65yds + 2 catches for 17yds & 1 TD

Christian McCaffrey (RB, SWRL) - Shared the workload with 13 rushes for 47yds & 5 catches for 38yds, looks like the PPR back to own, but they will continue to share the job.

Rundown of NFL Games (With YF relevance)

NEP 27:42 KCC

Kareem Hunt (NUCK): 17 for 148yds 1TD, 5Rec 98yds 2TD (FUM): 44.1pts

Tyreek Hill (NUCK): 7 Rec for 133yds 1TD: 24.3pts

Mike Gillislee (NUCK): 15 for 45yds 3TDs

This game ended up a blowout, the KCC Defense made the difference here, Pats D lost Hightower and then it was ALL KCC. NUCK also started their blowout in this game.

DET 35:23 ARI

Matt Stafford (NP): 29/41 292yds 4TD 1 INT: 27.1pts

Kenny Golladay (GAUL): 4 Rec for 69yds (Nice) 2 TDs: 20.9pts

Golden Tate (VAM): 10 Rec for 107yds: 16.4pts

This game was great for Golladay, Tate is the clear #1 for this team, but Golladay looks to be a great redzone target, Arizona was a mess, and made worse when they lost David Johnson, their OLine is a huge concern for Palmer, Fitz & the rest.

WAS 17:30 PHI

Carson Wentz (LOHA): 26/39 307yds 2TD 1Int: 19.9pts.

Nelson Agholor (FA): 6 Rec for 86yds 1TD: 18.6pts

Chris Thompson (VAM): 4 Rec 52yds 1TD: 13.6pts

Eagles D were the lead scorers in this game, gaining an interception & 3 fumble recoveries, one for a TD is huge for them. Agholor did really well, I am gutted I gave up on him someone is going to get a steal on waivers. Also the RBs in Washington are a mess, Thompson catching the ball when they were behind, Kelley the lead guy, Perine didn't play.

CLE 18:21 PIT

Antonio Brown (RMTC): 11 Rec for 182yds: 23.7pts

Jesse James (FA): 6 Rec for 44yds 2TD: 19.1pts

Deshone Kizer (AY): 20/30 22yds 1TD 1Int, 5 Rush for 17yds 1TD: 18.6pts

This was a great game by the Browns, Kenny Britt dropped the ball in 4th quarter on 2nd & 19, was open no defender, and nearly at the 1st down. barring that the Browns might've had a shot. The Steelers struggled throughout as well.

David Johnson (NP) Out 8-12weeks, officially placed on the IR...That stings... (drafted him in my redraft league, so feel your pain NP..!)

Will remain to be seen if he returns this season, especially given how Palmer and that offense was looking. Can't imagine they'd rush him back if they are sitting 3-9 and missing the playoffs...

NFL Game Reviews...Cont

NYJ 12:21 BUF

Tyrod Taylor (NUCK): 16/28 for 224yds 2TD 1Int, 8 Rush for 38yds: 18.8pts

LeSean McCoy (VAM): 22 for 110yds, 5Rec for 49yds: 18.4pts

Charles Clay (USOS): 4 Rec for 53yds 1TD: 13.3pts

This game was nearly as bad as it was expected to be, really the Bills dominated this game, the Jets were all bad, Taylor looked very good as did McCoy, and Clay was a clear TE1.

ATL 23:17 CHI

Tarik Cohen (NUCK): 5 for 66yds, 8Rec for 47yds 1TD: 21.3pts

Austin Hooper (IR): 2Rec for 128yds 1TD: 20.8pts

Jordan Howard (IR): 13 for 52yds 1TD, 3Rec for 14yds: 14.1pts

This game was actually very close, the RBs dominated for Chicago, Howards started poorly but got there in the end, Cohen was a TANK, on the Atlanta side it was a quiet night for Julio, but Hooper caught a 88yd TD bomb which helped them get home.

BAL 20:0 CIN

Ravens D (AY): 4 Ints, 5 Sacks, 1 Fum Rec, 0 Pts Allowed: 22pts

Terrance West (IR): 19 for 80yds 1TD: 14pts

Jeremy Maclin (AY): 2 for 56yds 1TD: 12.6pts

This game was dominated by the Ravens Def, Dalton ended on negative points and the Bengals got nothing going all game. West & Maclin's numbers aren't great, but the benefited from a solid defence helping them get through.

JAX 29:7 HOU

Jags D (FA): 10 Sacks, 1Int, 3 Fum Rec, 1 TD, 7 Pts Allowed: 29pts

Leonard Fournette (VAM): 26 for 100yds 1TD, 3 Rec for 24yds: 19.9pts

DeAndre Hopkins (IR): 7 Rec for 55yds 1TD: 15pts

This was another defence dominated game, the combo of a great run game and a huge defence effort saw Jacksonville home easily, Houstons OLine was horrible, but the offence was a lot better once Watson stepped onto the field, he will make Hopkins reliable again.

OAK 26:16 TEN

Derek Carr (VAM): 22/32 226yds 2TD: 18.7pts

Amari Cooper (GAUL): 5 Rec for 62yds 1TD: 14.7pts

Marcus Mariota (FAIR): 25/41 256yds, 3 for 26yds 1TD: 18.8pts

The Quarterbacks were the leaders in this game as they should be, Cooper dropped 3 passes in endzone (1 tipped, 1 off fingers, 1 overthrown), the Raiders Kicker was amazing, is the end of Seabass in Oakland, expect a retirement announcement this season.

IND 9:46 LAR

Rams D (LOHA): 4 Sacks, 2 Int, 1 FUM Rec, 2 TDs, 9 Pts Allowed: 30pts

Todd Gurley (RMTC): 19 for 40yds 1TD, 5 Rec 56yds: 18.1pts

Cooper Kupp (VAM): 4 Rec for 76yds 1TD: 15.6pts

This game was also led by defence, the Rams dominated a poor Indy OLine, and destroyed them all over the park. Gurey & Kupp were big beneficiaries of this and both ended up with a TD on the game.

SEA 9:17 GB

Jordy Nelson (VAM): 7 Rec for 79yds 1TD: 17.4pts

Ty Montgomery (NP): 19 for 54yds 1TD, 4 Rec for 39yds: 17.3pts

Aaron Rodgers (IR): 28/42 311yds 1TD 1Int, 7 for 21: 16.5pts

This game was a slugfest, both OLines had serious issues, the game was decided by ejections & injuries to the Seattle DEF meaning the GB players got going in the second half. Nelson looked really good, and Montgomery did OK as the lead back, 19 for 54 is still poor though.

CAR 23:3 SFF

Jonathan Stewart (GAUL): 18 for 65yds, 2 Rec for 17yds 1TD: 15.2pts

Russell Shepard (GAUL): 2 Rec for 53yds 1TD: 12.3pts

Pierre Garcon (USOS): 6 Rec for 81yds: 11.1pts

Carolina looked pretty good in this game, McCaffery was used in the backfield and in the slot, Benjamin & Funchess were very disappointing, Shepard looked good in limited snaps, has ability to be the field burner, with Samuel in middle And Stewart is the lead back, especially if they get a lead. Garcon is the lead Receiver in San Fran, but they will be looking to work Everett in there as well.

NYG 3:19 DAL

Dak Precott (RMTC): 24/39 268yds 1TD, 3 for 24yds: 17.1pts

Ezekiel Elliot (RMTC): 24 for 104yds, 5 Rec for 36yds: 16.5pts

Jason Witten (GAUL): 7 Rec for 59yds 1TD: 15.4pts

Dallas dominated this game, the Giants just couldn't do anything on offence and Zeke, Prescott & Witten taught them a lesson, the Giants Defence was good early on, but they started to tire as they were on the field all the time and unable to really stop the Cowboys.

NOS 19:29 MIN

Sam Bradford (NUCK): 27/32 346yds 3TD: 25.5pts

Stefon Diggs (NUCK): 7 Rec for 93yds 2TD: 24.2pts

Adam Thielen (AY): 9 for 157yds: 20.2pts

The Vikings Defence held the Saints to 4 Field Goals, bend don't break seemed to be the way in this game. While the Saints Defence could barely stop the Vikings, Cook on the ground, Thielen & Diggs in the air was all over them, Bradford had his best completion percentage in career history, just ended up dominating the Saints, the score was made to look good by a late Saints TD when down by 19, and the Vikes taking a knee in the redzone at the end of the game.

LAC 21:24 DEN

Trevor Siemian (USOS): 17/28 219yds 2TD 1Int, 6 for 19yds 1TD: 22.7pts

Bennie Fowler (USOS): 3 Rec for 21yds 2TD: 15.6pts

Melvin Gordon (NP): 18 for 54yds, 5 Rec for 25yds 1TD: 16.4pts

The Broncos were in charge in this game until they threw an Interception & Charles fumbled letting the Chargers score twice in a short amount of time, and it took a late FG to make sure they won the game at the end. Siemian looked pretty good, though incompletions were a little of an issue. Chargers were poor until that single period and Gordon looked good.

YFDynasty Games Recap: Week 1

Boars vs Hammers

Rams DST: 4 Sacks, 2 Int, 1 FUM Rec, 2 TDs, 9 Pts Allowed: 30pts

J.Witten: 7 Rec for 59yds 1TD: 15.4pts

J.Stewart: 18 for 65yds, 2 Rec for 17yds 1TD: 15.2pts

The Rams DST made this game a lot closer than it should've been, scoring 30pts as a defence is unheard of, but the Colts are just horrible, if you have a Defence going against them they should be played every single time, especially if Luck is out. The Boars ended up taking the win, Witten & Stewart used their old man legs to get through, while other than the let downs of Wilson & Kelley, the rest did whatwas needed of them to get the victory. Hammers had letdowns from Decker, Hogan & LaFell to really put them out of it.

Troopers vs Aggies

L.Fournette: 26 for 100yds 1TD, 3 Rec for 24yds: 19.9pts

Derek Carr: 22/32 226yds 2TD: 18.7pts

LeSean McCoy: 22 for 110yds, 5Rec for 49yds: 18.4pts

An absolute humping of a result, the Aggies demolished the Troopers, Hyde did the best for the Troopers, but getting negative points from your QB is never a good start. The Aggies had Fournette looking good, Carr running wild, and McCoy dominating the Jets. Jordy Nelson & Golden Tate both did very well in their games as well. Leading to a 77pt win.

Rodriguez vs Seanucks

K.Hunt: 17 for 148yds 1TD, 5 Rec for 98yds 2TD: 44.1pts

S.Diggs: 7 Rec for 93yds 2TD: 24.2pts

T.Hill: 7 Rec for 133yds 1TD: 24.3pts

This performance was even more dominant than the last one, a win by 101.2pts, while scoring 171.7pts, both of these are within the top 10 all time in this league. Swarlos had a disappointing effort with Perkins, Marshall, Zay Jones, Gates sharkting the bed, and OBJ then getting left out against the Cowboys. The Nucks started with Gillislee, Hill & Hunt going cxrazy on Thursday, and then others were soso until Diggs turned up on Monday and blew them through to 171pts.

Usos vs Billikids

A.Brown: 11 Rec for 182yds: 23.7pts

T.Gurley: 19 for 40yds 1TD, 5 Rec 56yds: 18.1pts

E.Elliot: 24 for 104yds, 5 Rec for 36yds: 16.5pts

Fairies vs Cursed

M.Mariota: 25/41 256yds, 3 for 26yds 1TD: 18.8pts

A.Rodgers: 28/42 311yds 1TD 1Int, 7 for 21: 16.5pts

J.Howard: 13 for 52yds 1TD, 3Rec for 14yds: 14.1pts

This game was the lowest scoring match-up on the week, the Fairies left in 3 players who weren't playing, need to look into that, will hit the owner up. Cursed had some bad luck with Eifert/Bryant doing not much, but the rest of their team did enough to keep their jobs, but not much more.

Yakcalls vs Paul

A.Thielen: 9 for 157yds: 20.2pts

M.Gordon: 18 for 54yds, 5 Rec for 25yds 1TD: 16.4pts

Ravens D: 4 Ints, 5 Sacks, 1 Fum Rec, 0 Pts Allowed: 22pts

This game was a surprise, NP were firm favourites going into this game, but they lost David Johnson & Caleb Sturgis to IR (Also ARob on the bench), Hilton, Thomas, Bryant & Gronk were all disappointing as well. Yakcalls will be delighted with this result, they saw Thielen lead them home on Monday, while Cam, Lynch, Crowell, Matthews, Maclin did just enough, and the Ravens D went Crazy with a 22pt result.

Player News Update

Jay Ajayi (RB, IR): Practicing in full, the week off looks to have helped with his back issues.

Andre Ellington (RB, VAM): Will be the third down back according to Arians

Kerwynn Williams (RB, MET): Is the listed starter for next week

Jordan Howard (RB, IR): Howard has been limited at practice so far this week, has a shoulder injury.

John Brown (WR, NUCK): Brown is not practicing so far this week with quad issues, this has been hampering him all offseason as well.

Dede Westbrook (WR,GAUL): Underwent surgery this week, is eligible to return week 9 from IR, could take the ArOB role on return

Devontae Booker (RB, IR): Will not play in week 2, is still dealing with his wrist injury, first practiced on Wednesday, week 3?

David Johnson (RB, NP): Arians hopes to have DJ back by Christmas, that would be Week 16, so season is all but over for fantasy, and if Arizona don't improve they'll be out of playoffs and will just let him rest.

Also looking to post a couple of Power Rankings from September details... One is for the 2017 season, based on starters at position PLUS reduced points for the bench players at each slot. The others will be Dynasty based, so for the long term rankings, am looking at ways to include at least 2018 draft picks, so those trading for them don't end up reduced score due to selling players.

Sweet sounds good! It's quite handy seeing rankings vs other teams as is a good way to benchmark whether you're improving from a overall quality of squad perspective - obviously still comes down to who you start each week on whether you win though

YF Dynasty Games Update

Billikids vs Gallia Boars

Tom Brady: 30/39 447yds 3TD: 31.8pts

Todd Gurley: 16 for 88yds 1TD, 3 Rec 48yds 1TD: 25.1pts

Jason Witten: 10 Rec for 97yds 1TD: 20.7pts

Travis Kelce: 8 Rec for 103yds 1TD: 20.5pts

Early on it looked like this battle of unbeaten teams would be very high-scoring, but in the end they both fell to about the average scores due to their DEF and a few stars not turning up (Zeke, A.Brown, B.Cooks, JStew, Cooper & Davis), in the end the Boars drove it through the end zone for a great win to continue to 2-0, and knock off the defending champions.

Rodriguez vs Troopers

CJ. Anderson: 25 for 118yds 1TD, 3 Rec for 36yds 1TD: 28.9pts

Lions DST: 5 Sacks, 1 Int, 1 TD, 10 Pts Agst: 19pts

Carlos Hyde: 15 for 124yds, 3 Rec for 19yds: 15.8pts

This game started out close, but the Sun/Mon night games blew it out, as CJ.Anderson & the Lions D dominated their games to give Rodriguez the win. Bernard, Ginn, Stewart, McCaffrey, OBJ, Marshall all did next to nothing in this game which led to the lower scores until the late games for Swarlos.

VUW Aggies vs PI Usos

Devonta Freeman: 19 for 84yds 2TD, 2 Rec for 16yds: 23pts

Michael Crabtree: 6 Rec for 80yds 3TD: 29pts

Emmanuel Sanders: 6 Rec for 62yds 2TD: 21.2pts

The delayed Denver vs Dallas game ended up playing a deciding factor in this game as Sanders held on to score 21.2pts, but Aggies had a chance to come back with the late game including Golden Tate, but in the end it wasn't enough to overcome the score of 136pts put up by the Usos. Only Garcon was disappointing for the Usos, while Jordy, Tate let down the side for the Aggies, Nelson is injured at the moment and might miss time going forwards.

Seanucks vs Fairies (LM)

Kareem Hunt: 13 for 81yds 2TD, 3 Rec for 28yds: 25.4pts

Broncos D: 2 Int, 2 Sack, 1TD, 17 Pts Agst: 15pts

Delanie Walker: 4 Rec for 61yds: 14.2pts

This game has some serious issues for it's owners, Fairies lost their best TE, they have no RBs, and their WRs are a bit of a mess this season as well. The Seanucks WRs decided to not show up this week, they got by with good games from Hunt, Gillislee & Broncos. Nucks will definitely be feeling better about it as they are 2-0, and in the playoff hunt at this early stage.

Cursed vs Yakcalls

Davante Adams: 8 Rec for 99yds 1TD: 19.9pts

Ravens DST: 4 Int, 1 Fum Rec, 3 Sacks, 10PA: 16pts

Aaron Rodgers: 33/50 343yds, 2TD 1Int 1FUM Lost: 18.5pts

This game was a strange one, some really good players that didn't dfo their part in the game, while the Rodgers Adams stack ended up deciding the result as it made Crused drag it home. Jordan Howard had an injury and scored next to nothing, Blount got a single touch in the Philly game, Bilal Powell got touches, but did nopt much with them, a lot of average scores as well. Cam NBewton is an ongoing disappointment for Yakcalls, under 15pts from a QB is a disappointment and a starting point for the whole roster.

Hammers vs Paul

Rob Gronkowski: 6 Rec for 116yds, 1TD: 21.6pts

Drew Brees: 27/45 356yds 2TD, 1 FUM: 22.2pts

Ty Montgomery: 10 for 35yds 1TD, 6 Rec for 75yds 1TD: 26pts

This game ended up one-sided, mostly due to the NE vs NO game, as Gronk & Brees managed to score 43.8pts between them. Gordon was poor on the ground, but made up for it in the air. Ty Mont did amazing in this game, still not doing well through the middle, but looking good bouncing outside, if a team uses contain then there could be trouble. The Hammers issues look to be Murray not up to scratch. Overall nearly getting to 100pts is a good target, but really need to press through to 110-120pts to guarantee a weekly win, they need at least one player to go off, with no one over 16 it's hard to win a game.
