Alrighty, one EPL round to go. I've just realised that the pre-season picks for final positions in the european competitions can't be calculated until the end of the month since we've all bloody well made the finals, so I'm thinking we absolutely have to do a special round for those finals now.
How about we pick the following for both finals:

Due to picking both teams scores and players, we'll ignore the usual 3/2/1 system for picking the win/draw/loss, and go with just 2 points for picking the correct result at 90mins, as well as the usuals for goals-scored by each team, and the margin. All of this will be calculated based on 90 minutes - no Extra Time or Penalty Shootout picks.

I've got the scores up to date in my super secret spreadsheet and all I can say is it's been a rollercoaster to watch through the hidden rounds so far... plus a couple of people have shone in the pre season picks, cats are seriously amongst pigeons, think carefully for your final picks lads, anything can happen......
I think it's fair to say I tapered off at the end. Whilst I was impressed with my consistency over the course of the season, I was somewhat disappointed I was consistently sharke.

Subject: Small request for final picks
Hi Paulm,
Due to unfortunate timing I'm going to be in Bali when the Europa League final is on, which equates to a 4am kick off. I'm unsure if I'll manage to catch it live :( To add insult to injury I'm going to be on a flight to Dubai when the Champions League final kicks off as we finish off our trip to immigrate permanently to the UK.
With this in mind I was hoping you and the team might consider some leniency for me in my picks when it comes to players. As I'll be unable to select players from the starting 11 as I'll likely miss both sets of announcements in the hours from the game I'd like to nominate a list of players from each team, where by the first 2 players on my list from each to make the starting 11 become the players selected for my picks.
While I appreciate this isn't something we'd normally entertain, I'd be very grateful if you and the team would indulge a veteran picker in what may be my last crack at this competition.
