I woiuld have taken a 2 - 0 scoreline happily at the start of the game. This is a hugely encouraging performance in my view.

How did we actually play? Did we have chances or did Uruguay hit the post 34 times? it is a respectable score line, but i wouldn't rely on our team improving significantly because of the return of two individuals. Albeit I hope Woodsy can pick up a couple of goals in the WCu20 group play. I would like to say our team is pretty good and competitive as they are.

That is surely the biggest result we have ever had at age group level, beating the African champs... who traditionally play overage men aswell.
Plus we were apparently unlucky against Uruguay as well. We only seemed to be outplayed by Korea.

Yep, they showed the U17s too, not just from Nigeria, but the one before that too - in Korea maybe? When Kosta was the captain? We played Brazil, England and North Korea in that one.
