Lewis has grown hugely as a footballer, had some nice touches, quick feet and possesses a powerful shot. If we lose Roly and a couple others.

He'd be worth a contract at the NIX, assuming he'd be happy to take a pay cut : )

Think he's already lined up a Euro gig.

Can you elaborate on this?

There were a couple of time last night I thought that Mike McG should of played the ball forward a lot quicker as we had Fiji on the ropes. I think Harry Ngata may have even commented on it on one occasion.

Sure I saw something either on the ACFC website or in match day prog that something came from his recent trial in - where was it? Denmark? Sweden? Definitely didn't dream it. Got better things to dream about.

They're currently in the championship - although relegation is very possible. Good move if it comes to light.

Hudson has mentioned a pro signing for Lewis is imminent.

Didn't Hudson mention in his interview that Lewis would get an overseas gig

I agree, though in WeeMac's defense there were stretches of the second half where he would get the ball from someone in the back three and his passing options were all 50 yards away, lined up along Fiji's back-line. The more advanced players could have done more to offer him options for quick ball.

Hudson getting stick for not playing Wood to keep the paying punters happy.
F me, I could have played up front and we would have beaten Fiji and Im the wrong side of 50.

In fact, we would probably have got more than two :)

There you go for all the critics of Andy Martin's 'lavcivious' spending. Sounds like he caught the bus back to Auckland.

Chartered bus. Partied up large in Taupo overnight. Charter bus on to Auck following morning. Not exactly "caught the bus."

NB "lascivious" = lewd, lustful, smutty, licentious, dirty, etc. Think you might mean "lavish." Unless you know something we don't.

"Apparently the five-a-side kick about went down to the line and they had to play extra time"
