It has been very quiet in Nelson - which could explain why Nelson Suburbs have conceded 11 goals in last 2 games. Apparently Foxe is flying to Wellington on Thursday returning after the game with hotel accommodation included in the deal

According to them on FB players go there to play for the "culture and atmosphere" not the money. But then said they wouldn't comment on players "contracts" and that the players understood that Covid has had an impact on funding.

Watched them play today for about the fourth time this season. Ground nearest to home.
The same story as other games. Poor team defending and a lack of a killer punch in the attacking third.
They would also benefit from their coach spending less time finding fault constantly with the referee and more time focusing on what his team are doing. it really is a stuck record.
It transfers to the players doing the same. Especially number 2. In my experience, the more you wind up the officials, the more they are going to rule the other way. they are only human, and they are doing their best.

Think he got frustrated at Mar having all the ball and taking the piss. Launched himself. Watson the only one who showed anything. Mar were top notch- I’d back then next week.

Watched Lower Hutt play Wairarapa, Hutt lucky to come away with three points in my opinion. Wairarapa the much more dangerous team until their CB got sent off. He was one of the best players on the park until then.
Referee was poor, any time a Rapa player as much as brushed a Hutt player he gave a foul. Even the Hutt chairman asked him what he was doing when he decided to yellow card the Rapa coach with two minutes to go for next to nothing.
For Team Officials Caution offences include (but are not limited to)....

- throwing/kicking drinks bottles or other objects
