Yellow Fever League - 5th edition

With tonight being the penultimate round of the current league, it is time to start setting the wheels in motion for the next one. 

So post in here if you're keen to join, whether you're an old timer or a new player (sign up at www.trophymanager.com and make a team in NZ).

I'll continue to do tables, and fair play, as well as these awards of pro days for league winners as well as fair play:

premier - 10 days

championship - 7 days

league 1 - 5 days

fair play - 5 days

The floor is also open to anyone who may want to contribute more to this thing, this can include:

* further pro day rewards e.g golden boot, least goals scored, best defence, league runners up...whatever you want. 

* match preview write ups

* match summaries

* A tipping comp 

Or whatever else you can think of and feel like doing. 

Also a plug for Ryans Rovers A league tipping comp ( http://forums.yellowfever.co.nz/categories/straya-a-league-and-state-leagues/topics/a-league-tipping-comp-2012-13 ) new league starts next week and needs another 4 players last I checked. So get in on that if you're not already.

Michaelme has 4 points with 2 games to go, so you'll do ok haha. He started off slow, but has gotten better. You've had a wee while to get settled before this league starts, so will be interesting to see how you go.

I'm in for my 3rd consecutive time in Premier league! Mid-table plonkers!

The below is assuming giddyup ends up joining, and maynardf doesn't (as he is 2 and a half weeks inactive). They have until the end of the week. If maynardf or someone else does join, we will go up to 4 divisions. I will just post this provisional to sort of explain how it will work. 

Provisional structure:

Great work Tegal. 3 divisions of 6 will be great. Equally 4 divisions of 5 will also be good.

I hope Maynard joins. Anyone know how to contact him outside the forums? Have you sent him a PM through the forums Tegal? (That sends him an email telling him to check his pm's)

I have pro days to set up a division if needed.

Good to have some fellow newcomers, maybe we'll actually have some competitive games and a chance at getting points off each other

Bwtcf - didn't realise you could do that on the forums. I sent him an in game message, but obviously he'd only get that if he happens to log in. We also have another who may join too. If they both do, it'd be 5x4, if just one of them then 19 is an unfortunate number, and ill have to drop my Aussie team out :(

Create a team in nz, let me know your club ID and you'll be sent a friendly league invite in game in the next week. Don't join any other friendly leagues as you can only be in one at a time.

Can I change the name of my club?

nah, I never actually named it - just gave me S.C.Invergiggle - found out where I can change it but apparently not for the first 30 days lol

Sounds about right. Think they made it like that for spelling errors in team names etc. 

  You can change the name for free in the first 30 days, but after that it costs you an insane number of Pro days.

Anybody able to get a hold of giddyup or maynardf? Do they have twitter?

So because we have 19 teams, and that is an awkward amount, I threw in my 3rd team, which I stupidly purchased one day and never use. This gives us 4 divisions of 5. And throws up no weird surprises this time. Division 4 will be interesting, its a division of newbies! 

I will ask if Khandallah Lokomotiv can send the invites out for division 2, is anyone keen to do it for division 4? Ill send instructions, club IDs, team names etc.
