WSW v CCM in a battle of the cellar dwellers. I think there might be an upset tonight, CCM have never lost at Spotless despite being rubbish for awhile (P3 W1 D2 L0).
Season 14: Week 7
$2.05 for CCM +0.5 seems value, hard to fathom why WSW are such strong favorites tonight.

"Western Sydney Wanderers have won six of their last nine Hyundai A-League games against Central Coast Mariners (D2, L1), including their last two meetings.
It has been over a year since Central Coast Mariners last won a game away from home (Nov 25, 2017), while their last away win in New South Wales came against the Wanderers at Spotless Stadium in February 2017 (2-0)."

Probably if McCormack was playing the odds would be closer. I picked a draw.
What is with the camera angle
Bullet from Baccus, 1-0
WeeMac having a pretty decent game for CCM, only player doing anything for them
Sotirio scores, fold the league. 2-0
That strapping was never going to work!!
VARgate strikes again.
VARgate strikes again.
Weirdly, much as I dislike VAR, I'm OK with that decision. Here's a case of a highly prejudicial slow mo replay appearing to show Galloway reach out and control the ball with his hand. However I'm assuming VAR has determined that he had his arm out already in a normal bracing position and in a split second the ball has bounced up into his hand, hence not a clear and obvious error by the referee not to award a penalty for hand ball. So fine by me as long as it's consistent.
All the penalty shouts today have been dealt with correctly by VAR in my opinion, but you still can't help feeling it's a bit of a lottery.
That was a really dull half of football by the way.

Yes, it's probably correct to call it a non-handball, being non-deliberate etc. Though part of me thinks if you're going to be a muppet and kick it into your own arm you deserve penalised. I know I've been called for that before!
The appeal right at the end of the half wasn't even close to a penalty.
Kosta with the goal for 1-0. First goal in the A League was ten years ago for the Nix. Wow, time flies, I remember that goal.
Kosta taps in an easy goal. 1-0
Edit: Yes, was also just thinking 'OMG nearly 10 years ago'.

Forum back then was full of moaning about how Ricki never had enough faith in young Kiwis to give them game time. Amazing how much things have changed since then.
Roar normally win at Newcastle, so I reckon they get the points tonight. I reckon it will be tight tho, 1-2

Roar win at Newcastle less than half the time.
What a save by Mossy
Nice poachers goal by Sheppard to give the Jets the lead in added time, 1-0
Jair opens his account, 2-0. Looks like the Jets don't wanna follow tradition today
Jets nearly messed that one up. Nice celebration from Jair.
2-0
Jeez that was a poor cross by Lopez. Sums up in a few seconds how poor Roar have been, particularly in the 2nd half.
Ha, nice one ref:
"Hey! When do you take the corner flag out? Never! Never! Never!"
Ridenton does seem to mess up those easy chances eh
Gives Taylor a run for his money for miss of the season.
