For football fans not aware (!) the National Age Group Tournament is on this week in Lower Hutt with games at Petone Memorial an Fraser Park.
If you are looking for something "footbally" to do with the fine weather this weekend, get down to a park and have a look at next generation. Tournament started Wednesday and runs through to Sunday morning.
Next U17 boys cycle will be made up largely from the U15 (and possibly some U14) players from this tournament.
U16 girls features of next U17 girls side (not sure how many, but some since qualifiers were postponed)
U14 girls will have many of next (2021) U17 cycle (2021)
Some decent talent out there.
