I have a few i'd do:
Isn't She Lovely - Stevie Wonder
Wonderwall - Oasis
Beautiful Day - U2
Drift Away - Uncle Kracker
Californication - RHCP
Possibly throw in a few Bob Marley songs too. Jammin and Redemption
Song.
I don't do Karaoke. Don't even do Sing Star in front of the
kids....
....and they appreciate it I'm sure.
Why Don't We Get Drunk And Screw - Jimmy Buffett
and I actually saw it on the play list out in the Hutt somewhere - you gotta admit they have class out there in the Hutt Valley.

The only way to do karaoke is to do a goofy song that everyone knows. If you try to be serious people will laugh at you, not with you.
I did "hit me with your best shot" by Pat Benatar at a staff party recently, 'twas a hit.
Other suggestions include:
Don't Stop Believing-Journey
Any Way You Want It-Journey
Jack and Diane-John Mellencamp
You Give Love A Bad Name-Bon Jovi
And pretty much every other bon jovi song. They all work.
just a small town girl
living in a lonely world
she took the midnight train going anywhere
Just a city boy
South detroit born and breed
he caught the midnight train going anywhere
Well I do remember being sh*tfaced in Singapore once and singing
The Gambler in a Karaoke bar. It didn't take me much persuading
either.
Saw a guy get up at a bowling club karaoke and sing "Anarchy in
the UK" in a very sexpistolian styleee! When he finished a
very elderly bloke got up and said to him "Son, I don't know if
that was good or bad but it's the nearest thing to high art this
place will ever see..."
I am nut for The gambler, dont even have to be too pissed to try
it. But if i am really hammered, i go for Bohemian Rhapsody. the
great thing is you can butcher the song completly and no-one cares,
as nobody expects you to get even close to freddy mercurys singing
style but they all appreciate the effort.
to really turn on the cheese you can't go past " you've lost that
loving feeling" ala maverick from top gun
I wouldn't. Last time I went to K Club, I almost jumped out the
window. Lucky the music system broke that night before I did...
Found this gem too! Buffy, still here, Robb was in India but might be back now.
Creep by Radiohead or White Wedding by Billy Idol
Id probably sing Jessica by The Allman Brothers...
