Much excitement I'm finally here (as opposed to palmy) any other nix supporters working for Fmg by chance? Looking fir friends lol.
Nix fan just moved to welly
Great work. Any way of passing on a message to the escape committee that you made it out safely?
It'll take a few days to adjust to life here and the fact that everyone isn't your relation!
*winky emoticon....twice*
Welcome to Wellyfornia. Hills are your friend.
Thanks team yes I have discovered the land of steep steps which when palmy gives you the departing man flu is not fun as I am sure this is all part of the wellington initiation just like everyone telling me I live near garage project and I must visit it. Wait what you are telling me I have to drink beer to be accepted? Well if I have to I guess
what suburb ar you living in? And welcome to the Capital city of NZ despite what some might wish or think.
Wellington is my fave. Waterfront is beautiful on a calm night - my absolute fave place to be.
Also, make sure you enjoy cutting shapes on the d-floor at Electric Ave. It's an institution.
In aro valley for now. Not as bad as everyone says being pretty much a brand new house.
Did you move for work reasons?

Lol yes work reasons. I got a new job with fmg so I packed up my life and moved to the land of stairs beers and the phoenix. I discovered bethel woods last night (with driving down to the games last year I didn't get a chance to pop in) and that excited me. Garage project is on my to do list next week and my brother has promised me a stumble round all his favorite pubs once I am settled so things are looking up.
Aro's not that bad - it's got character, which is another way of saying its a shark hole. But it's one of those suburbs that make Wellington what it is, iconic.
Do you get any sunlight in winter? Is the mould crawling up the walls?
It's the dog poo themed pavements thst give some of the character and charm.

Saw a guy thrown out through a closed front bay window in Aro St once. End of party.

I think I hit the Aro Valley gravy train, brand new house, warm dry and it gets sun!!! (Admittedly only till like 4pm but im hoping to find some beverage buddies so that im not home till dark anyway).
Aro is awesome, as long as you've got a house with a heat pump you'll be sweet. Welcome to the greatest city in the world!

I work at FMG in Palmy. Been there 14 years. There's a few footy guys in the Wellington office. Mainly in the Underwriting team.

Living in a fire station possibly does strange things to the mind.

Do you like pinacoladas and walks in the rain?
I always liked the idea of Seattle. Make it a yf flat lol.
I have always wanted to visit Wyoming and Montana and Vancouver. I'd like to visit the town where they filmed First Blood as well.

Not a fan of Vancouver, the only place that I'd live in outside of Wellington is probably Edinborough. Although Queenstown appeals.
I'd like to live in Summer Bay
I'd like to live in Summer Bay
As Phoebe's next stalker?
Hannah has just broken up with Andy so that could be a good reason to move.
However I'd still prefer Mt Thomas over Summer Bay.
