Dugout is quick and easy to play and there is enough there to maintain interest without spending hours on it, which I have done in the past - losing whole days - weeks even staring at a screen and eating packets of biscuits.
Since posting my original message I have continued playing Dugout
but only occasionally check my itsagoal team.
What is the name of your team? I play Dugout as well and am currently top of the 1st Division although I am not likely to finish there with a sudden rush of injuries to key players. I also was the NT manager but decided to step down for the challenge that comes with the U21s. If anyone needs any help feel free to send me a message (usernames Matt).
Which Online Management Game?
I confess I'm new to the concept of online footy management games
and only discovered them since being a member of this forum.
Of the three games I've picked up - dugout, itsagoal, hattrick - which according to forumites is the best in free version and which one is worth paying for the extended features? And why?
cheers

I've played hattrick for a few years now, been a supporter for most
of it.
I really enjoy it, great forums and good offsite forum for the national Oceanian team.
Supporter is good for a couple of reasons, probably my favourite is the ability to bookmark players that you are interested in purchasing.
then the federations are good for individual interests, always something available and lots of people from around the world to discuss things with

Azza,
Do you have a link to the hattrick site?
Also if we start teams does anyone here have a local league or
forum group they run on the site?
www.hattrick.org
you can't choose which league you are put into.
There is a newbie's forum which is a great way to start out, and the Oceanian forum is also a good place to ask questions as most of the people there are helpful.
There are generic forums like NZ North and NZ South, but I haven't really seen a lot of conversation in these

There is a Wellington Players Association Federation in Hattrick. A good place for FEVER fans to congregate. Perhaps I'll see some of you there.
Wellington Players Association (WPA)
(AllianceID: 600700)

Dugout-Online is best. Only a small NZ league, but plenty of
details and shiny graphics to keep me amused. I've just started and
have been put in the NZ Division 2A, with my team: Yellow Fever FC.
Gotta get them sorted out and promoted to their rightful place.
I play goalunited.org
Can someone register me at Hattrick in Australia or New Zealand ? ;-)

Anyone play Mangerzone? Just been playing for about a week, has a fair few people signed up.
