2016 #YFDynasty Rookie Draft

Thought I'd start this thread up to prepare for a draft for the new season. I'm going to post a large amount of info in this thread, so please don't comment until I have posted 5 posts which I will then edit to include information.

Our Draft

I will start this at Midday NZ Time Friday 6th May.

Selections will be made in this thread (I will email & tweet at those who I have on there if their pick is up)

Each pick will have a 24hr time limit 

If you send me an email to jono (DOT) newton (At) mail of the google (dot) Com I'll send you an email as soon as I see the pick before you, with a time for your pick to be due (As a reminder), alternatively follow me on twitter (@jononewton) and I will post the picks there as well.

Remember this is a ROOKIE draft, so we will be only selecting rookies, I will do my best to have a comprehensive list in this thread, but I make no promises on having everyone.

Top Rookies (By Position)

Overall Rank is amongst all rookies, Rookie ADP is from DLF's May Rookie Mocks, & overall ADP is from their Dynasty Start-up Mocks (May not available yet, but I will add once it is)

NFL Draft Round by Round

When picks are made I will remove rows that are not offensive players. 

NFL Draft will be held April 28th to 30th

1st Round of the Draft is today, I'll post all picks up here today (Full First Round), and through the weekend I will do updates when I can, removing all nn-fantasy players.

My thoughts for the start of the draft...

The Top 5...

Rams - Goff

Eagles - Wentz

Chargers - Tunsil (Talk they take Staley, which they might, but Tunsil is the better LT)

Cowboys - Ramsey (Get some defense, if they take Zeke I'd be shocked)

Jaguars - Joey Bosa (DE)/DeForest Buckner (DE)

After that I can see another QB in the top 10, 49ers at 7 my guess

Myles Jack is going to drop outside the top 10, and someone from the bottom 10 picks will trade up to get him, and he will be one of the best players from this draft in years to come. (Come on Vikings)

Browns should trade down or take Staley

First WR off the board will be to the Texans at #22, and then we could see 4-5 of them late in the round.

Cowboys still clearly have Jerry Jones in charge taking Zeke at #4 overall...The could've really helped their Defense with a DE or Ramsey, instead add a 4th Rounning Back, yes he will be a beast behind that OLine, BUT it seems a waste of a pick for them, and to top it of they wer trying to trade into the 1st round before the Broncos moved up to get Paxton lynch as well...actually crazy.

Jerry continues with Jalen Smith, now he could be an amazing LB, but the Boys need help now surely, especially on defense, two picks so far and no improvement to the defense.

I'm thinking about starting this asap, but no pick countdowns until Friday at midday. Everyone is good with that?

I'm not too fussed, down no reseasch but I'm not picking until the second round anyway.

Right, so with that thought, consider the YF Rookie Draft open awaiting Troopers pick, clock will start counting Midday Friday

Technically is on the clock as there is a deadline of Saturday midday (24hrs after Friday Midday), so they have 97hrs and 12mins remaining on their clock

Sorry for the delay - entertaining a couple of offers, will make sure that I make a decision tonight to ensure either myself or another party has sufficient time to make the next pick.

Rammtallica Billikids have traded the 9th pick in the 1st round to Suspension FC, they are now on the clock with 16hrs 21mins remaining...

pleased I got Wentz - needed a young QB as I have Romo, Palmer and Rivers - combined age of 149.

It's more like combined age 300 or so, and Romo can't hold the ball laces out either :D

I'm going to be a bit surprising and take Tyler Boyd 

Nice pick - I thought you were going to go RB to be honest.  I note he had a DUI in 2015 so should fit on Suspension FC nicely :)
