West Ham rumours
Darren bent has turned down West Ham after not agreeing to contractual terms with the club. A fee of 15m pounds plus Hayden Mullins had been agreed. A spokesman for Charlton said West Ham have many other options and will now begin chasing them actively - keen to see what that could mean!

Everton have reportedly joined Fulham, Blackburn and Middlesbrough in the race to sign West Ham striker Bobby Zamora.
The News of the World claims that Hammers chief Alan Curbishley has told Zamora he is surplus to requirements at Upton Park and can follow fellow frontman Marlon Harewood out of the club.
The 26-year-old, who cost West Ham 1.5million when he moved from Tottenham in February 2004, scored 11 goals in all compeitions last season but has failed to hold down a regular place at the Boleyn Ground.
Harewood has already courted interest from new Cottagers boss Lawrie Sanchez and it could be that the former Northern Ireland coach is looking to reunite the pair in west London.
Gareth Southgate needs to strengthen his attacking options at Middlesbrough after the departure of Mark Viduka to Newcastle, but Zamora would struggle to break into the starting line-ups at Goodison Park and Ewood Park, so is unlikely to favour a move to either of those grounds.
Well it seems that Yossi wants to leave us for Liverpool and a trade for Bellamy looks increasingly certain.
West Ham have announced the 6.1million signing of Julien Faubert from Bordeaux.
The 23-year-old France midfielder has penned a five-year contract at Upton Park, becoming manager Alan Curbishley's second summer capture following the arrival of Scott Parker from Newcastle.
The Hammers fought off competition from Rangers, who are thought to have offered in the region of 4.5million for the player.
Hammers chairman Eggert Magnusson told the club's official website, www.whufc.com: "I am delighted to welcome Julien to Upton Park and feel sure that he will become a very successful signing for the club.
"He is one of the most highly-rated young players in European football and many clubs were attempting to sign him, so we are very pleased that he has decided to join West Ham United.
"I have been very impressed by his desire and ambition and I think he will be very popular among our supporters."
don't know anything about him and can't be arsed googling right now. if we lose yossi, tevez and players like bent don't want to come to upton park, then where have we gone under the new regime except backwards?
I just read that Faubert didn't want to move home to West Ham, but preffered a move to Rangers instead. He protested but only signed for us when Bordeaux told him its West Ham or nowhere.
Cheers for your post Frankie, feeling a lot more positive now.

Not sure how I feel about that, to be honest.
