Would probably apply to most teams.

Nah that early 90s team was playing some great stuff and if joe public didn't want them to win- they wanted them to win more than the other teams and they watched a lot of their games. Doubles and trebles were genuinely exciting and fairly rare things...just like a Leicester win here would be.

Personally I want it to go to the final day and for Leicester to beat Chelsea at Stanford Bridge and for Ranieri to do the DX crotch chop to the directors box.

A win this weekend for Leicester and two of the teams going for the league are out of it. Arsenal and City. So it will be between them and Spurs.

Leicester only require one win now, and have three games in which to do it;

ManU away

Everton at home

Chelsea away

Title celebration at Old Trafford this weekend?

It's great, the true underdog story. If this was America Ron Howard would already be looking for a screenwriter.

Even a few days ago before this round the british media was predicting Leicester to blow it and that they would finish second in the end. So even five points clear they were still rated the underdogs and told repeatedly that they had a good run but the better teams would get them in the end and that they will inevitably crack.

Great mental strength in that team as much as anything else.

It's done now Spurs have Spursed their chance. Congrats. Be interesting to see what effect this has on the future of the Premier League. Will clubs like say West Ham and Everton now start believing they have a chance of the title?

It's well deserved after 12 months of incredible form:

Leicester's Premier League form since April 2015:

WWWWLWWDWWWDDWDLWDWWWWDWWWLDDWDWWWLWDWWWWWDW

Points: 98
Goals: 82

The 4 losses are to eventual champions Chelsea, twice to Arsenal this season and away at Liverpool.

Sums up Arsenal when we've beaten Leicester twice but can't actually beat them where it matters.

Yep.

Also sums up EVERYONE else in the league, why the f*ck couldn't they beat Leicester???

We were hardly playing great football when we beat them, either time. They're a good defensive unit with a cracking counter-attacking ability, and that's it. Pretty simple blueprint, won them the EPL. Crazy.

Yea why not.

This league should be bloody entertaining next season.

I remember 10 years ago we had a pretty locked down "big four". Of that big four, here we are now, and only one of them is currently in the top four at all. The other three are 5th, 7th and 9th.

Unbelievable really.

So TAB picks next season?

$2 on the 5 outsiders

$2 on the "top teams" to get relegated

$2 of Leicester to get relegated?*

*not a dig a Leicester, glad to see them win it.

It would appear the UK bookmakers bought out all bets placed preseason on Leicester to win the league. Some got BIG money to settle, with one holding out quite sometime before folding to the pressure.

Of course they can, but we have not lost at home to any of the teams above us and I am still picking us to win and Spurs to get beaten by Chelsea this weekend.

Although feeling pretty down about this season, something seems a little satisfying about Leicester winning the league at Old Trafford and then the following week going to Chelsea and Ranieri being given a guard of honour. Though as it's Chelsea they'll probably refuse to do it.

Funny what being generally solid, not having any particularly bad injuries and having an actual identity/gameplan will do eh

Big game tonight. As a neutral, I normally back the underdog but in this case, I would actually rather see Leicester City win.

Just saw the TAB odds for this game up the top. Firstly, why are there two and why are they different? Secondly, they seem pretty harsh on Leicester's chances. They have only lost 3 times in the PL this season, Man U have lost 9. I can see why Man U might be slight favourites (given form, home ground advantage, and pressure on Leicester) but not overwhelming favourites like the TAB has them ($2 for the win vs $3.70 for a Leicester win?)

I don't have an account and I'm not going by a TAB today. I'd probably put money on the draw if I was going to though....
