Non league is littered with former long time members of the FL who have fallen on hard times, some having gone out of business altogether and been re-founded
Stockport County
York City
Darlington
Chester
Leyton Orient
Hartlepool United
Hereford
Torquay United
Halifax
etc etc

Stocport missed their promotion playoff chance, losing 1-0. But they drew a crowd of over 6,000 at their ground.
