Is there an official Auckland bar to watch the nix in? I have to work on Sunday morning, and don't want to watch them at home. Is there anywhere that accommodates lots of chanting and drinking phoenix style?

What about CHCH bars?

Definitely a few Uni Guys in my hall avid yellow fever supporters, so well need to locate a local drinking hole with Fever hospitality.

Would definitely be keen for an Auckland place to watch games, hell I could even try talk to my Manager about it at my Pub in Grey Lynn we have average prices no way as cheap as RSA's etc. But we do jugs etc though.
Or else you can just come and watch with me and my mates at their place in Grey Lynn theres usually bout 7 of us at least :D

Some lads I know used to find the Queens Ferry in Vulcan Lane receptive to football.

Hopefully we'll have a new forum up sometime soon for these sort of plans.  Just need to merge the EURO 08 forum back in to European football first.

I mentioned this to one of the honchos @ Lion, and they said if YF can organise the numbers he can ask around in each region and find a YF friendly pub that will offer discounts on Matchdays.

absolutely brilliant!!

imagine if (one day, son, one day ) every decent sized town had a football/phoenix friendly bar (with discounts - and singing!)

Yeah Cheeps that would great! But turns out they are not on Sky after all. Would defo like to take you up on the offer of watching the Nix at your mates house, if we can't sort out a venue before the matches start to get televised
