Note to self - do not take the short cut from the Tenzo to the ground - the scars prove that the storm drains are lethal after a few scoops!

There's going to be plenty of us, around 15 from Wellington, the NSW supporters and I heard some of the lads were coming up from Melbourne as well. We will DEFINITELY have a decent Fever Zone for this trip! :-)

Another feasibility study being conducted for this one today.

Downside is I will probably have to give up the two home games I was planning on attending...

Fly into Sydney on Friday 21st. Have tentatively hired a (small) car so will be driving up to Novocastria. Should comforatbly seat 4, one of those being me of course, for the 3hr trip if anyone is keen to join me. Payment will be in ciders the next day.

Also happy to get a larger car if there are a few extra folks looking for a lift and we can negotiate a price based on the difference between the two vehicles! (ie an 8 seater van costs $400 for the 5 days I am there vs a small sedan for $185 for same period). Either way I get in around 2:30pm from Auckland on the friday so the Fever Bus will depart International Terminal around 3:00pm-3:30pm!!!

Book Central to Broadmeadow (not Broadmeadows as you will end up in Tardistan!) about a week out from arriving. 1st Class ticket about $30 and you have bar service. Standard intercity service is around the same price without comfort or bar, just bogans!!!

Let us know the pre match pub. Work trip panned in nicely for this trip so will head down to the wsw v glory game on the Sunday morning...hopefully not too hangover.

Thurs - open to suggestions for shopping and touristy stuff before the boys arrive

Fri - train to Newy

Sat - GAME DAY BITCHES!!!

Sun - More shopping while the boys are at the baseball (ugh) then Perf v WSW

Mon - Recovery day before late flight out 

Also - Egan - don't purchase any Perf tickets for the Sunday game.  I may be in possession of a few come game day. Can confirm on 10 March.

Still don't have my arrival date in NSW confirmed (waiting on bid for the training week to be confirmed - meetings the week after have been confirmed though). But will be there for the Saturday Night at least.

Can't buy the Western Sydney tickets till the 3rd March so no rush.

The train ride up is pretty spectacular to Newcastle. Under-rated city. 

Thursday advice - Walking in Sydney, The Rocks (oldest colonial area which is pretty much in tact), Darling Harbour, Chinatown, Botanic Gardens, Ferry to Manly, Walk across the Harbour Bridge, relax with a coffee, Shops are on George street. I'd just take it all in...Have been to Sydney 9-10 times now and its still brilliant to just sit by the harbour for a few hours. If your keen on museums let us know, been to most of them in Sydney. Shopping is not my forte though...

The result last night has definitely put me in the mood for this match!!!
