I just booked flights to head over for these two games, also heading to the Asian Cup final in Sydney the day before the Brisbane game.

Fly into Sydney, watch Asian Cup final, fly to Brisbane and watch the Nix the next day, spend half the week in Brisbane, then fly back to Sydney and spend the other half there, then off to Paramatta to outsing the RBB.

Anyone else thinking of heading over for these games?

(I live in Sydney)

I'll be at Asian Cup Final and the WSW game, although it has been moved to Penrith now from Parra. It's a fair trip out there on the train but enjoyable. Keep in touch and we should organise a Nix meet up before the game somewhere then get the train out. The last game I was at against Western Sydney there were about 15 odd of us at Pirtek.

The annoying thing is every time the Nix play in NSW something happens. This year:

CCM - In-law wedding

Sydney - In New Zealand

Newcastle - In New Zealand

I'm seriously considering the Brissy game... can't think of a better way to spend my birthday than 36 degrees and some Phoenix!

Realised the other day that there's a Melbourne Derby on the day before the Nix game. Wonder if the bank balance will let me take a detour to Melbourne...

I am keen but could probably only do the one match in either Syd or Bris, probably leaning towards WSW match

Anyone coming to wsw game. Tickets are on sale without a password so get in quick before the wsw supporters start buying them and take up our away bay

I am definitely going to WSW in Penrith.

Flights booked.

NZ845 Sunday 8 Feb 0640 WGN - 0820 SYD

NZ846 Monday 9 Feb 0920 SYD - 1435 WGN

Ticket to the game booked, BAY 13, ROW C, Seat 14.

Still deciding about Brisbane. The game being on a Monday is a killer for me. It means I miss two days of work... hmmm.

I bought tickets 2 weeks ago in the Away Supporters Bay. I just went onto Ticketek and the Away Bay showed up as an option for me, might wanna try again Robin?

I did the same, and the away bay was an option for me and I bought my ticket there.

Followed you on Twitter - easy way to liaise on the day. Follow me back to DM re. pre-game.

I land at SYD at 0820 and then will make my way out to Penrith at some stage.

Have you got any plans for game day Patrick?

I'll probably head out their earlyish as I've been asked to have an interview for a podcast that features fans who are "behind the game", so I'll be heading out to Penrith in the morning I suspect.

If anyone is going to Pirtek I recommend the scenic route - ferry from Circular Quay to Paramatta

Is there a meeting point in Penrith for the Fever?

Sydney Fever Facebook page reports it is Tatterhalls in Penrith (see here) part way between the train station and the ground.

Or is there a warm up location in the city planned? I am keen to do brunch/lunch in the city if people are interested.

I'm keen for pre-train meet up for some food

I am staying with Matt Daniel, We'reStillWinless fan, pictured here at Bethel Woods after the first 1 - 0 drubbing (not the banner stealing incident night):

We've agreed that I will:

1. Land at 0820

2. Catch a train into the city

3. Catch a ferry up the Parramatta River.

4. Meet Matt and his wife at the wharf.

They know a cafe 5 mins from the Parramatta Wharf that they recommend, and we're gonna go there for breakfast/brunch.

Th train from the airport to Circular Quay takes about 30 mins.

So I figure I will be there (Circular Quay) about 9.30ish.

There is a ferry from Circular Quay at 10.07, which arrives at Parramatta wharf at 1130.

Just finding out from Matt if that works with his anticipated timetable.

The other option is train from the airport to Central Station, then Train to Parramatta which gets me to Parramatta Station about 10:30am-ish

If you are keen to do brunch in Parramatta then the options from there are:

Come with Matt and I for some pre game RBB jousting and drinks, and then go on to Tatterhalls Hotel Penrith for the Nix pregame warm ups.

Or train from Parramatta station to Penrith and follow your own timetable (and go to Tatterhalls Hotel at some point etc.)

It's actually 0 from 8.

By the way, for future reference, the Circular Quay to Parramatta ferry is the business! It is THE way to get to Parramatta. Wharf is about 4 blocks from the ground, and the ride up the river (1 hour 20 or so) is spectacular. And only $7.40 too.
