make it applicable to anything resembling the Phoenix then I will
delete it.

Assume it's the womens loss to Canada... hoping for better tonight
?
Movie must have backfire 4 nil to Canada @ 1/2 time, either Canda
pulled back or NZ picked up to end 5 nil to Canada. It was a big
ask to play Canada but it show NZ Football how much we must improve
to compete at world cup level. Lets hope they can find the money to
train the women together in proper camps over more than a few days.
Topic should be in non Phoenix forum.
canada 5 NZ 0
bahaha
Go the WWC squad. More games more tips and tricks learnt this can
only be a winner for NZ.
China 2007 they have drawn a tough pool and will go in under
no illusions that they must give 110% for 110% of the
games.
Alas it would appear that the Scary Movie topic was a bit too
subtle for some not reading all the football news, including womens
Football. The womens team are off to the World Cup in China
and really need much more competition. While it was good to
see home internationals for them. It would have been good to
see a game in Welly or ChCh. Like their male counterparts I'm
sure that they'll be giving 110%. Go the Swanz????!!!!! Not
sure they're going by that nickname any more. Women's
football will get even more of a profile with the Womens U17 World
Cup next year.
Sorry Feverish, I had assumed that if one, read all the Football
news, including that on Women's football, (this topic that mirrored
one in the newspapers and on the NZ Soccer site) the headline would
have been instantly recognisable. Guess it was far too
subtle. It is a reference, albeit tongue in cheek, to the
Canadians comfortably beating our Kiwi women 3-0. Oh well back to
the drawing board, I'll get the sledghammer out next time!!!!
