So that means his or anyone elses problems in a first world country for example are somehow less valid, less real??

I hope for everyone's sake you are not a social worker.

It's that sort of ignorance in NZ that has led to us a country having the highest rates of suicide the world over and kept people from seeking help when needed. Not saying Kosta and his family fall into this category, but we shouldn't be so dismissive of people's social and mental wellbeing.

Disappointed!

Seriously you drop suicide into the conversation with Kosta

Get a life mate

I sincerely hope you are not a social worker

You said he should effectively harden up, because other people's lives are tougher.

That is a totally ignorant comment, and completely sidesteps the complexity of mental health. People who are depressed are impacted regardless of their wealth, nationality, age or sex.

Kosta simply might be opting out as you suggest, maybe not. But personally, I wouldn't jump to making such personal statements when I have nothing but hearsay to go on.

The guy just had a baby - leaving a new born and your partner at such a stage is tough no matter what situation. Have some empathy.

fixed it for you

Nah Payne and De Jong were never at WS.

But interesting that a few marginal selections like Nando P, Just and De Jong were all at Hay’s most recent coaching assignment. Favouristm perhaps.

more thinking along the lines of him knowing the players'ability but wanting to see how they get on in an international environment

Imagine being callous enough to think that playing sport is more important than having and spending time with a newborn. Jesus.

De Jong made the last squad, and has since moved into the professional ranks so his inclusion makes sense.

Just was one of our better u20 players along with Nando so a worth a look at in the bigger stage.

Who is going to Ireland and or Lithuania games? Crew is building and be great to do it together. Fan friendly in Dublin is 3pm, pub after, then game.

Have you any idea how to get Lithuania tickets as NZF doesn't have a clue.

I'll try and see you tonight and grab a ticket for Lituania off you as I imagine I'll be sat quite close by.  Also have a feeling we might have meet up before at the Confeds 2 years ago.

Pumped for tonight.
